My PSP has broken joystick, should I try to repair it myself, or should I upgrade to PS Vita?

Depending on the model you just have to unscrew like 5 to 7 screws, it's literally a baby tier repair.

might as well if you're already considering just switching to a vita anyways

Vita may have the capability to play PSP games, but the screen isn't the same size and it just doesn't feel the same. Personally I'd look into fixing the PSP and getting a Vita anyway because they're awesome.
