It'll sometimes choose to just import those even though they're not part of the solicited character. It's not absolute but it'll try. I tried using it on a chibi once and it didn't really work too well, but that might have been due to framing having it small against the background and that particular chibi warping what it perceived to be character traits.It's been a while since its big imagegen update though, you might be able to justify holding off on touching it until it gets one you find of particular interest.
