I've come to terms with the fact that I don't really like fighting games. It's not that I don't enjoy them at all, but 2 niggas in a ring with no gimmicks just gets really boring.Melee slashers and other open field 3D combat games are where it's at for me, when you can employ tactics outside of strict 1v1 combat.Maybe if Soul Calibur or Bushido Blade made a comeback I'd get back into fighting games but even then I want to see more cool levels and gimmicks.

Gameplay is good too that back then before Strive it was seen as baby version of Guilty Gear but what makes Blazblue unique is the Drive button. Think of it as a 'unique attack' button in which has a special property and changes drastically between characters. It defines the character in terms of gameplay and makes him/her unique. The online has rollback and at average 200 players daily. It's a solid series.
