With how things are going and things he's said about the game before, Nasu himself pretty clearly wants to be done with it already, and Finale really doesn't need and shouldn't get any sort of real followup outside of maybe an epilogue or alternate ending, but at the end of the day its his artistic vision versus Aniplex's corporate greed, and considering Ordeal Call largely exists because of the latter, it's an uphill battle I hope Nasu wins.

The writing style is a bit different however due to Nasu's inspirations going from >Vampire Hunter D>Black Lagoon>Hellsingto >Evangelion>Trigun>DragonballIt still has some of that Tsuki edge and chuunisms here and there, but you'll have to deal with characters acting and looking closer to what you see in modern anime, I personally prefer Tsukihime and KT due to the lack of those but still found fate enjoyable overall. The production quality is also way higher so the non-main story content doesn't feel like a waste of time.
