Why are flight simulator setups so cool, but truck simulator setups so cringy?
I think it's the weird boomer they seem to have that throws everyone off, they just act weird and rigid as fuck
Probably because driving is something most people do at some point in their life. Obviously not everyone drives trucks but you're still driving a vehicle, not many can say they'll pilot a whole aircraft. Also there is just something about being in the sky. When I played War Thunder sim battles in VR it was one of the coolest things to experience.

>>729679141Being allowed and able to fly a plane takes a long time, then actually flying one is a pretty big undertaking since they can only be in the air for so long, so it's reasonable enough for someone to get a simulator and skip the hassle. Meanwhile if you want to drive you can just use your fucking car, so going through the effort to buy a whole goddamn simulator is really autistic (especially since those kinds of simulators tend to err on the realism side so you can't do wacky fun stuff)
