This was the last Nintendo system that tried to evolve how we actually play video games, now Nintendo has just given up and makes the same game machines as everyone else. Why did we stop trying to innovate for the last 20 years? VR never caught on and we can't even get gyro aim and backpedals standardized, why have we become so complacent?
Both the industry and consumers have gotten extremely risk averse. Trying something new is likely to fail and people love clowning on a failure
>>729683229>thought cubies were the most pathetic specimen of snoys >now there are literal WiiUsnoys trying to take jabs at the Switch
>>729683229Switch perfected it. I dont know why you guys are busting nuts over a half baked RnD device.
>literally a worse, big DSwow so innovative!
>>729683229Are you retarded? The switch changed gaming more than the wiiu ever did. This has to be b8
>>729683731you don't know what the definition of a snoy is
>>729683837>>729683939The concept of playing handheld games on your TV is something that goes as far back as the SNES. More importantly it doesnt actually fundamentally change anything about the game itself. There are DS games designed around the concept of a dual screen. Meanwhile any Switch game could run on a PS5 or Xbox
>>729684352and other than Nintendo Land and Star Fox Zero literally every Wii U exclusive could have been done on the Switch lolso much for innovation
>>729684707Having a dual screen for WWHD was awesome and Nintendo are double niggers for removing that feature from BotW just so the Switch version didnt look bad by comparison
>>729683229the Nintendo-bros don't know WiiU copied Dreamcast
>>729684976Nintendo is very rarely first to do anything. They just see unrealized potential in tech that already exist, Apple was the same way
>VR never caught onThe gall on this guy
>>729683229wii u is the best emulator systemit can't be beat
I will NEVER understand why they didn't just call the Wii U the "Switch". The entire fucking point of it was that you could switch between handheld gaymin and living room TV playin. What a fuck-up.
>>729683229>VR never caught ongive it 10 more years
>>729683229Even you don't believe in anything you typed
>>729685384The DNA for the Switch was certainly there in the Wii U, it just wasn't fully realized since the Gamepad wasn't really the console itself, just a controller
>>729683229Turns out, not even older generations of gamers have a high enough average IQ to watch and interact with two screens to play the game?
>>729685384funny how this would have saved the console
