Hopefully it's a good deckbuilder at that, though even as a mediocre deckbuilder it'd still be a huge improvement. And gameplay aside, F/E has a cool premise. I'll gladly "replay" F/E with actually engaging gameplay. Hopefully the game doesn't die in devhell.

The game already seems pretty complete because they shared screenshots of the 7th Arena which is essentially the last dungeon a year ago.

If the gameplay is better it'll be the better game regardless. But I saw some comparisons to boss arenas and such where the new game had rather empty arenas compared to the originals that were themed to the occasion. Hopefully that wasn't representative of the finished product. Though ultimately I can't say I care much provided the gameplay is better.

Shame it kept getting delayed but it looks promising from everything shown so far.>>729690523Not quite, but to massively over simplify things, the answer to stopping everything that was fucked up involved a full universe reset to before the entire journey began. The protagonists went through with it, and then the post-reset world is very briefly shown and the player character meets Mash, but that's about it.We don't know if more context will be given, or not, but what we do know is there is still more new story content coming (Valentines event + a Foreigner focused story chapter) but its unclear if that will be written as before or after the ending that just happened. However there's a lot of fan speculation that the ending is fakeout or still incomplete, and thus people are expecting information tomorrow.

It's been ages since I tried playing, but I'm pretty sure I dropped it for many of the reasons you listed. I was also a little annoyed that that you had this decently long game that you basically had to play through several times because of the servant you selected.

However the fucking grind still remains and even with fully analyzed enemy behavior it's a drag my condolences to all the people who played on real hardware and couldn't fast forward the animations
