Thoughts on rhythm games, do you think they're still worth playing, like this new game for example, Bits & Bops?
>>
I like the art where they suck cock
>>
I just recently saw these things sucking some guys thick cock.

they are worms
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bHQ2bMtCOw
>>
You only made this thread because of the art where they sucked a dude’s cock
Also why would I play some “spiritual successor” [knockoff] when the real thing still exists? These are never good
>>
Maybe if its mentioned the fourth time someone will post. Also pop n' music still not having a feasible way to emulate with the controller sucks, has there been any develops on that?

I like that /v/ is so collectively on the same corner of the internet multiple anons immediately know the exact piece of furry porn from off-site being referenced
>>
>>729684475
*pieces (plural), it was a whole image set. Even teased the dude using one as a fleshlight
>>
>like the game
>see this thread
>think "cool, finally a thread about it"
>it's zoophiles talking about porn
every single time
>>

I have not seen these things before and would like to see them sucking cock

I think it's kind of disappointing visually. There are some times when RH goes crazy with the visuals to completely remove that aspect from your timing and this game tends to be pretty static visually. They're cute, sure, but most of the games are played very straight aside from the literal first one and the president parrot game.

It's a rythm game. It's like you're a fan of one of those german work autism simulators and you got excited when you saw someone mention wheat.
Like buddy what the fuck is your problem there is NOTHING to talk about.

>WHOAH buddy I just scored PERFECT on ultrarythm
>Wow nice anon really good to hear
>Did you hit bop bop bop at the right time like in every other level but slightly faster
>Hell yeah you know it
Riveting conversation

I only had my eye on this game because RH was considered dead by everyone until Groove randomly got announced
Gave it a try anyway and I like that they added a higher tier of perfect ranking but the minigames themselves are really boring

The point of spiritual successors is to act as an unofficial sequel and evolve the gameplay of whatever IP it's based on but this game doesn't do anything new aside from the ranking thing mentioned earlier.
It also doesn't help that many minigames are very clearly just outright copy pastes of RH minigames. The devs should have made all new original minigames and actually tried to evolve the gameplay formula

With the context of Groove now being a thing, this game now comes across more as a ripoff to me that only has an appeal to a diehard RH fan but even then most of the minigames will just be ones that they've already played before.

NTA but it’s annoying that whenever something niche gets brought up here discussion can’t happen because it gets drowned out by furries who can only think with their dick.

Anon, you know how /v/ treats cute things... don't you?
>>
Perhaps it’s coincidence, I think it’s funny that multiple RH clones came out this year to replace the hole of no RH and as soon as they got announced that’s when Nintendo went “oh hey we have a new Rhythm Heaven coming!”
>>
there aren't enough worms in video games
>>
>>729688192
I wasn't thinking with my dick until the post right after yours

>>729688192
That doesn’t happen nearly enough to be a problem
>>729688494
How long until they get hit with DMCA’s
>>
I don't like when cute things are lewded because then they aren't cute anymore
>>
>>729685639
You know that applies to most non-story based video games, right?

this is the only indie RH clone that actually landed the RH feel
>>
Solid ass rhythm heaven clone
I wish there were more advanced versions of the minigames and mixtapes like the actual games though
Much better than Melatonin which just felt awful
>>
Bits and Bops was made with copying RH in mind and it succeeds in that, but is quite unremarkable. Music is mostly forgettable and there isn't much content there overall.

Rhythm doctor on the other hand was a pleasant surprise for me. The concept is fresh and the music great. They are priced similarly if I recall, so I rather recommend this one.

I don't care much about standard "notes falling down the line" DDR/guitar hero rhythm games.

slut

What are some other Rhythm Heaven-likes out there? This and Melatonin are all I can recall, that Mindwave game looks neat from the demo but is more Warioware than RH.
