Let's have a chart thread. Rate and recommend games, bonus points if they're on a holiday sale.
>>729690159This has to be a bait thread, right? Nobody can have taste this bad.
>>7296901591+ for Bayo. Here's mine.
Postin
Putting my two favorite recent indies on here for the sake of freshening it up (replacing games I admittedly haven't touched in some years). Of course now the site saves images in a fucked up aspect ratio for some reason so I had to screenshot.>>729690159I liked Bayo, Ultrakill, Sonic Mania & DKC here. I have some nostalgia for Club Penguin as well but in the same way I do for Runescape where I guarantee I couldn't enjoy it today.>>729690891inFamous, [Prototype], MS2, Bayo, GH, Web of Shadows, DMC3, etc. all quite nice. You must've played Heretic & Hexen already right?>>729691230Very cool taste, I've played and enjoyed most of this chart, except Skullgirls which I never liked that much despite loving all the things that inspired it (at least it gave me Valentine). You have a favorite MMZ?>>729691782Pretty cool but I can't say I enjoy Golden Axe much, outside of Revenge of Death Adder they're all pretty middling to me.
>>729690159for the games I finished in 2025
I should update this at some point. Plenty of new games that should be on there.
>>729692306I have Heretic + Hexen on my wishlist, aiming to buy it soon.
These are the last 40 games ive beaten
>>729690159Great mixed with terrible, normal human being>>729690891You decide what games you like based on what fits your self-image, cringe but lots of good games here>>729691230Absolute manchild>>729691782generally based games, but a pseud, Bulletstorm is a pathetic pick>>729692306takes estrogen
>>729691782>>729691230Future Perfect is kino just wish Gretel got a better design >>729692306Yeah when it comes to Golden Axe it's mostly nostalgia and fond memories for me
>>729693590>Bulletstorm I was meaning to actually remove that one kinda put it there for meme purposesI did enjoy the score system though
>>729690159i am also a 35 year old boomer. i enjoyed dos1 a lot more than 2 though.>>729691230im still waiting for mike z to get his revenge>>729691782basedblu
>>729690159Try Silksong
>>729693590>>729690729>faggot doesn't post his own 3x3kys
>>729690729OP is keyed
(1/2)>>729690891I just beat Quake 1 this year, how does 2 measure up?>>729691230>Bad Company 2My nigga. So many fun nights of sniping niggas from a mile away.>Tekken 2My ABSOLUTE nigga. My favorite Tekken game. Props for Soul Blade, too.>>729691782I liked Vagrant Story a lot until I realized it's a spreadsheet game.>>729692306>Rez Infinite>After Burner Climax>ZoE2 MVRS>UMvC3>Dragon's Dildos>KILL CHAOS: The GameAlso my nigga. I know you from other threads, what's up.
>>729695438(2/2)
>>729695438Quake 2 is an improvement over Quake 1, imo. You should get it most definitely if you enjoyed Quake 1.
>>729695906I'll wishlist it for the next sale, then. Thanks.
>>7296901593/3You should probably play Alpha Protocol at some point.>>7296908917/7You tried True Crime: Streets of LA? It’s a rough gem IMO (and a fantastic early 2000s time capsule).>>7296912307/7Tekken 2’s vibes are unmatched. My favourite soundtrack and roster in the series too. Soulblade is also one of my favourite fighting games. Would probably recommend Bushido Blade.>>7296917823/3Time Crisis 1 is criminally undercooked compared to the under games in the series IMO.
>>729696650Seconding Bushido Blade.
>>729696650No, but I tried Sleeping Dogs, so it is on my radar. Just trying to finish up a couple things then I'll try it out.
>>729695438I got to play some Espgaluda on cab last month and I can see why people adore it. Only got one credit's worth but that was still a stage and a half.
>>729698838Welcome to the club. It hits all the right notes for me as far as a shmup goes: Fun gameplay mechanics/ scoring system, soundtrack, boss bullet patterns (all very distinct, before the era of purple spam everywhere), art style/ aesthetic, just fucking everything. I hope you end up giving it some more of your time. Up until the very final phase of the last boss, it's Cave's most forgiving and easiest shmup.
>>729695438Hey man. Just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to make sure that my old save is still there, and it is. Happy New Year.
>>729699321Fuck yes. It's my #8 favorite game for a reason. Especially for the true final boss, Gluon. Happy New Year to you as well. There isn't much Psyvariar out there, even official art, so here, have a friend of mine's fanart of Kei, from way back in the day when she still did fanart.
one day i will return to these threads
>>729690159I approve Galaxy 2 as that is also one of my favorites. Also loved Club Penguin as a kid.>>729691230Have to play Ape Escape 3 again, replaying the first.>>729692306Forgotten Land is one of my favorite Kirby games, but my favorite is Super Star Ultra mainly due to nostalgia.>>729691782Love Dig Dug! Knowing that fact, you can probably guess my favorite/most used character in the Mr. Driller games.
>>729690159
>>729700124Kirby SSU is one of the best remakes ever for sure. I'd argue RtDL Deluxe is alongside it for the visual facelift and significant amount of new content. NiDL is more of a misfire but at least it introduced Meta Knightmare to the series.
>>729699459>>729699459you're already here.
>>729702439>obsessed weirdo stalker loser
>>729702518>fag so desperate for attention that he has to announce that "he'll be back" but gets defensive when he gets the attention he craveslmao
>>729700546Solid and unique
>>729699321>>729699424Had no clue what this was until I just looked it up and it's neat. For some reason I didn't assume it was a shmup from the box/keyart.
Bump
>>729706402It's pretty cool. It's meant to be played for score, though, so if you're just blasting everything in sight, you're doing it wrong. (Play as Yuhei, the way Psyvariar was meant to be played)
>>729706480Just let it die, no one actually like these threads and only boring people post in them. You're killing the board with all these boring rec begging threads
>>729694408>basedbluNo you
>>729706949Not killing it quite as fast as endless E33 threads.
>>729706978The same people spamming rpg threads are the ones rec begging
>>729707006Legend of Dragoon, Super Mario RPG, and Shadow Hearts. There. There's the recs for E33 fans. End of story. Next?
>>729707006Oh. And Lost Odyssey.But altogether, that's it.
>>729707181>can't understand the post>makes a boring reply>lists boring gamesJust let the thread die and take a break from 4chan
>>729707428>>lists boring gamesYou need to be 18 years of age or older to post on this website. It's in the rules.
>>729707428>The Legend of Dragoon>boringMaybe you're the boring one. You'd be fun at parties if you were ever invited to one.
>>729706949Oh no, one less /vp/ thread, or "let's talk like a nigger and call everything slop" thread, or gooner thread, or twitter screencap thread, or quote from some literally-who-youtuber thread, and so on. Fuck you and fuck all of that. At least people are talking about video games here.
>>729707513You literally confirmed what he was accusing you of
>>729707794OP SAMEFAGGING LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>>729690159Check out northern journey.>>729691230Too bad skullgirls is dead. Bayonetta, tormented souls 1, and jet set radio future.>>729691782Check out Drillerland>>729695438Automata looks great and boring. Is there more to it than the empty levels?
>>7297096504/4Dark Souls, Terraria, Breath of the Wild, Super MetroidRain World has been on my backlog for a hot minute. Need to really get around to it.
>>729700124>>729709650>DrillerlandI will definitely pick that up, thanks friends
>>729710948Didn't realize I accidentally put Zero Mission on there twice. Replace one of them with Wild Guns Reloaded.
>>729709650>Is there more to it than the empty levels?More than BotW, and you can soak in the atmosphere at 58-60fps instead of 25-30.
>>729711589Is there more to it than atmosphere? Are there interesting gameplay scenarios like in Bayonetta or something
>>729710954"The Hole of Druaga" mode alone is worth it.
>>729711928It's an open-world game, so there aren't many lock-in fights outside of bosses. There are a bunch of side quests that expand upon the lore and are mostly more interesting than the fetch-quest ones in the original NieR / NieR Replicant. Some of the boss fights are pretty cool.
