It needs zombies, monsters, or aliens and it'd be fine. Sad really. Great engine, boring as dystopia but solid foundation. I can only kill the same reskinned faggots for so long.
If we're being real ubisoft just pulled an EA where they went "Well it was supposed to make 3 billion dollars but it only made 2.9 billion so we are gonna put it on life support to squeeze what's left of it while we transition the team to make rushed licensed movie games instead of focusing on our own IPs"

Division 2 is a good game and still has regular updates and new content added. Considering it is a ubisoft game you don't need to buy a season pass for the new game content. It does have dlc, not sure about the new dlc but the warlords of New York dlc is good and worth getting for the new map and missions.

>>729724815This. The WNYC was a tuneup almost on par with D3's Reaper of Souls (newfags cannot even remember how utterly shit and unplayable vanilla D3 was prior to RoS...). Div2 went from a half-decent 3ps with good gameplay to a top tier looter shooter, still the best you can find on the market, 7+ years later. The top tier co-op elements and matchfinding are just icings on an already pretty good cake.It's been Ubisoft's literal cash cow for the past ~5 years, with a quite huge, low-key (boomers, for the most part) and loyal player base. Matchmaking for most stuff is almost instant the majority of the time.The only real complaint is >>729724546, it's a better game than the original in every single way aside from the atmosphere, visual milieus and the Survival game mode (which is coming to Div2 soon-ish...)
One thing that I find fascinating, considering this is an Ubisoft title, how lax their community guidelines enforcement is. The global chat is a constant stream of racism, antisemitism and other schizoid ramblings of people calling each other retards, and none of them get ever banned. Compared to something like Queerbow Six where you get a timeout for the most trivila things, like typing EZ in chat, feels very inconsistent for such a company bragging about being progressive.
