You might have to patch a rom or two though. Like IV's US release has a bunch of cut content and was turned into easy mode, plus the translation is shit I recall. So there's a romhack for the Japanese version called "Namingway" I think, which translates it back correctly, restores a lot of cut content, renames things, etc.

You're paying 48 euros for 6 games. Any way you slice it that is objectively a good deal since it comes out to 8 euros per game. All the retro FF games take longer than 8 hours to finish so you'll definitely get your money's worth. They're all surprisingly replayable as well.

I recommend emulating the PSX Final Fantasy Origins version of I and maybe II. It's the closest you can get to the NES originals, with the bugs fixed, and unlike the Pixel Remaster or other later versions it doesn't have revival and magic restoring items which trivialize the difficulty. Looks great too, color palate is darker than the PR version.

It’s the best version of the games. Best graphics Best music you can switch between new arranged or original sound. New music was overseen by uematsu himself. Gameplay was always the same but this time you can fast forward kinda and turn off random battles or boost your exp/gil to save time.If you like final fantasy classics then it’s the best version of most of them.
