>>729747365it called into question exactly why we have character level in the instance. you are either level 1, 19 or 20. 1 when you start. nothing changes at all till 20 when you can enter forked tower. then if you wipe in forked tower you're 19. then you'll have grind out the exp till you're 20 again to buy another entry token anywaythen you have FT itself. the first mechanic is a 24 man body check where the minimum entry was 16 and there's thrice come ruin on the fail state. phantom jobs are either keys to progress in forked tower, do damage or get around the arbitrary rez lock. what you're actually grinding jobs out for is the passive health and damage bonus. the CEs are mediocre to good, but there's no dps checks in any of them so there's literally no reason to play anything but warrior. finally, this was a complaint that has been mostly dealt with now, but gold currency was too separate from the rest of the activities in the instance

Eureka trains were still the best form of massive world content they've done in the game. The trains were slow paced enough to where you weren't constantly stressing to get left behind, chat was active, the zone layouts and mob placements actually required you to somewhat pay attention. Plus it absolutely SHIT capped tomestones so once it released I never had to do a single Expert dungeon (by far the worst content in the entire game). The only part of Eureka that was no fun allowed was the Pagos light farm.
