Decided to try that Ferrari game on PS3.Game's alright. Definitely a Slightly Mad game, with its somewhat weird turning. Too easy, though. Even on Hard the CPU puts up no real fight, although on Hard some of the time cutoffs can be narrow.

In an earlier racing thread I mentioned I was irked by Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and its layout.I played this game to mess with my new VMU Pro and, honestly, this game's interpretation of the course is more fun and more flowing. Aside from the fact everything is more open around the circuit in general (none of the awkward wall placements) the s-curves are more graceful to take that make it easier to go from braking, to cutting into the apex, to running out smoothly. The game's more liberal physics model probably helps with that but nonetheless I found myself getting into lapping the circuit more than I did in Gran Turismo 7, despite recognizing virtually every corner from my time in that game's Circuit Experience.However, on the flipside, I feel like Monaco is actually worse than in reality, which is pretty remarkable given how wonky that course is already. It's even narrower than the real thing, which REALLY does not work (it's especially bad around Casino corner and La Rascasse). The unrealistic physics probably work against it here since you can too easily oversteer into the overly tight barriers.
