Just disable damage numbers in the options for peak immersion. Only downside of this game is the framerate. Imagine if this was ported properly on PC.

The rail/glider/surfing sections are maligned but even with those it's not as bad as AC which is bogged down by investigative horseshit nearly every level or other dumb parts like the stealth section.

The combat system is gimmicky and pretty shallow, enemy design varies from middling to very annoying, damage numbers instead of hit reactions sometimes, the level design is subpar, and the ranking system is one of the worst Platinum's ever made. Good visuals, character designs, music, and to a lesser extent bosses though. Bayo Origins does its "one character on each analog stick" thing a dozen times better, play that instead.>>729752554The Bayo Origins director left Platinum already for Housemarque but it is an excellent game.
