Regardless of whether they were released in 2025 or not, what are yours? I have five. Amateur numbers, I know, but I tend to bounce around between several games at a time.
>Quake
Cleared the original campaign.
>Ehrgeiz
Unlocked every character in arcade mode and cleared the RPG mode on normal.
>Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon
Platinum'd.
>Stellar Blade
Got both normal endings, currently doing side-quests to get the best ending.
>Ginga Force
Cleared story mode.

These games. I've been playing the GBA version of Robots, the game based on that animated movie, I may beat it this friday at the latest. What can I say? Variety is the spice of life.
>>
I'll go chronologically because holy fuck I have a lot.
>Felvidek
Technically beat it Dec 30th, but that was after I made my "Games I Played for the First Time this Year" list so it doesn't count. 5.5/10 game, which is pretty high as far as RPGmakers go.
>The Case of the Golden Idol (plus the DLC)
5/10. I went in expecting Obra Dinn, I got a souped up flash game (which Tangle Tower also is, but that shit was pretty damn good). It's got its charm, but those were kind of lost on me.
>MiSide
3/10 let's player slop. Glad a buddy got this for me, I wouldn't have wasted money on it otherwise. My best friend (different guy) had plenty of good laughs at me getting scared by the most mediocre horror sections this side of the Mississippi, though. (I'm not a horror guy, alright?)
>Jedi Survivor
5/10, while being a direct upgrade from the first game (a 7ish/10, for the record) it gets hit hard by the High Republic being hamfisted in everywhere, mainly the story.
>Staffer Case
???/10, not sure how to rate this one. I started by hating it, but it grew on me to the point that I'm looking forward to its sequel. Aviary Attorney is the better AA clone though.
>Small Saga
Speaking of Aviary Attorney, this is that dev's second game. Unfortunately he trooned out partway into development, and you fucking feel it. 2/10, worst shit I played this year and singlehandedly convinced me to never trust an Ack with making something worthwhile.

1/?, I'll keep posting in a bit. Just wanted to keep this thread alive

>>729754940
Wait, did you fucking 1CC Exelica? The very best I can do on a good day is reach stage 5 and die at some point before the final boss. Bravo if that's the case.
>>
>>729755813
The only shoot 'em ups I've 1 credit cleared are Otomedius Excellent and Mushihimesama Futari on lower difficulties, so no.
>>
>>729756054
Those are still feats, assuming you don't mean Novice mode in Futari.
>>
>>729756312
Otomedius Excellent on Expert, so, every difficulty, and Mushihimesama Futari on Novice mode.
>>
>>729757657
Congrats on the Otomedius clears. You can beat Futari on Original. Remember, it's garbage CAN, not garbage can't.
>>
>Pikmin Squared
The normal Olimar journey might not count, but Louie's Quest does, and it's great. Played it like 6 times this year.
>Tomato Adventure
It's ok, but at the end of the day, M&L is better.
>Plumber for all Seasons
A-tier hack.
>Sonic Robo Blast 2
Great fan game. It took a bit for me to properly get a grasp on it, but after that, it's legit the best 3D Sonic. And that's without getting into the mods.
>Sonic CD
Plays like ass, but everything else about it is great.
>Sonic Triple Trouble 16-bit
I don't have much to say other than it's a great Sonic game.
>Sonic Time Twisted
It was neat, but I don't want to collect all 16 rocks for the good ending.
>Donkey Kong '95
One of the best Game Boy games I ever touched.
>Savant Ascent Remix
I'm not sure what genre it is, but it's amazing. If you like Aradey score attack games, it's a must-play.
>ENA Dream BBQ
Looks great but calling it a game is a stretch.
>Cubivore
This is one of those games you need to touch yourself to get a grasp on it.
>Pikmin 2 Caveless
I liked what it was going for, but it really made this Cave hater miss them. This hack made the game feel very "not enough".
>Pikmin 2 Regrown
If I liked Pikmin 2 more, I would've loved this. It's everything you want a hack like this to be. But as a man who hates caves, it was wasted on me. But if you like them, you GOTTA play this.
>A husk at dusk
GBC homebrew that jacks off autam. I played it in the spring. It's just a maze.
>Donut Dodo
Great little arcade game from the 80s that's actually only a few years old. Great soundtrack too.
>Chameleon (for the DS)
shovelware
>Dragon Quest 4 DS
I started this for that "new" Dragon Quest Monsters game. Pretty good time all around.
>PATAPON 1+2 Replay
My first time really playing this series. 10/10 I don't really care for that recent boss rush mode. If I didn't already have Monster Hunter it'd be my go-to grinding game.

>PATAPON
Oh man, I played the absolute shit out of that game on PSP back in the day. Glad you enjoyed it.

>Donkey Kong Country
Resumed playing it with my brother because of that RudeJackArt video. He carried me hard during the King K. Rool fight.
>Freedom Planet
Spark the Electric Jester is better.
>Super Mario Remastered
This is how I beat Mario 1 for the first time. Does it count?
>Transylmania Deluxe
Funny little vampire flash game.
>flatwoods rpgmaker waste of time
Shit was barely a game, and the puzzles were barely puzzles. It was impressive that he got some full animation in cutscenes, however.
>3D monster maze
It's neat from a historical perspective but that's about it.
>Mario and the Patchmakers Workshop
A retardely impressive Mario 64 hack, but it can get annoyingly difficult in some parts. I cheated several times, and I don't feel bad about it.
>Manos the Hands of Fate
Did you know this had a game? It's just mediocre beyond the novelty of seeing a bunch of bad movies as enemies.
>Super Bomberman 5
Best Bomberman game on the SNES, hands down. It lacks in big bosses, kinda sucks, but it makes up for it everywhere else. I hate this fucking dog like everyone else.
>Super Bomberman 4
It's also pretty cool with the rideable enemies but 5 is just so much more.
>Bomberman '94
It's another good Bomberman. That final boss is tough as shit.
>Dottiedreads-nought
Homebrew I played on a whim.
>Ten(mariohack)
Fun enough little thing.
>Bomerman Generation
Mid as fuck. This song is the best part of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67hOClK9yV8
>POCKET BOMBERMAN
Short as fuck, but Bomberman with jumping has some novelty.
>Bomberman World
Great music, shit game. Feels very unfinished. That last couple of bosses can eat my dick.
>Mario: Christmas Island 1/2 and Nabbit Steals Christmas.
Just some holiday Mario hacks. They aren't as cool as Merry Mountain, but they have better bosses.

>lego jurassic world (switch)
6/10. Of all the lego games I've played this was one of them
>brotato (pc)
7/10. Very fun little RNG game
>theatrhythm final bar line (switch)
8/10, this game was like crack for me. I usually only have the patience to play a game for an hour or two before needing to stop and do something else, I could (and did) play this all night
>e33 (pc)
6/10. I don't get the buzz around this one, I think it was graded on a curve by most people because it was an indy game. It was scored like an episode of masterchef australia, the music during cutscenes is laughably bad because of this
>miitopia (switch)
5/10. Charming but repetitive. Also a game from that era where nintendo filled every games with popups asking you to take a break for every ten minutes of gameplay. I liked that the tank class was an actual tank
>donkey kong bananza (switch 2)
9/10. Great game, my personal GOTY
>kirby star crossed world dlc (switch 2)
6/10. I love the base game to death but this was just more of the same and felt more like a level pack than an expansion
>Pokemon ZA (switch 2)
5/10. Violet and Scarlet were much better games, and I'll be extremely disappointed if this is the battle system for Pokemon going forward
>Kirby Air Riders (switch 2)
7/10. This game didn't really click with me even though it has its moments. When it hits it hits but it doesn't always hit, if that makes sense
>Age of Imprisonment (switch 2)
8/10, very solid musou spinoff. Robot Link is a very cool character and has won me over to the idea of a Zelda game set in the future
>metroid prime 4 (switch 2)
7/10 The only two prime games I've played was this and the prime remaster and I think this is the better game. Has some major design issues that hold back the game from being great though

This list is missing alot of the games I played on pc game pass but I'm not going to redownload the app just to see what I played at the start of the year.

>DKC with the bro
Sounds fun. K Rool was no pushover, especially that final pattern with the really short hops. Congrats to both of you.
>Bombermans
Nice. My favorite party game series.
>>729762386
>Final Bar Line
For some reason, it didn't click with me like the 3DS games. Probably because I miss the touchscreen controls. More power to you, though. I only played the demo once, so maybe I should give it another shot.
