Classic is a classic run and gun with a great balance between platformer and gunner. X just sped up the gameplay a shitload. By the time Zero gets introduced with his sword, it's just an action platformer at that point and even dips its toes in search action/adventure platformer/metroidvania with ZX so there's little I can think of for them to do outside lean in fully with that genre.I'd play the shit out of a Mega Man 'Vania, but it's one of the most oversaturated genres and I can understand some hesitance there.
