My mom keeps buying shit with klarna, but since the amounts she's paying "aren't that bad" she has no incentive to repay it quickly. I've tried to explain to her that loans are never a good long-term solution, and klarna is essentially just that, a micro-loan, but it doesn't get through to her.

Honestly, pre-builts nowadays, are so cost-effective now I can't imagine ever being able to build my own again. a pre-built system I just bought with 64 gigs of ddr5 and a 4090 with a 14900k ran me 4800 dollars. The 4090 on its own would have been 3k from everywhere I was looking.

I use the system to play rimworld, vintage story and stardew valley because I only play autism sim games and make my own mods.

This is basically true, but if you've already got significant emergency savings, and you have some savings for a luxury item, and you can get a 0% interest payment plan, and you can afford to put aside X dollars per month for your bigger purchase, it's not a bad idea to get a reasonably short payment plan for Xish dollars per month instead of waiting 6 months to buy something all at once, or totally draining your "fun" expense fund for the item.
Debt is good for your credit score, and if it's 0% it has pretty much zero drawbacks unless the total cost of the product will send you into a debt spiral if you were to lose your job a month or two into the payment plan. But that drawback is nullified if you have the "fun" savings to pay down that debt if needed.
With a payment plan, you get to have your item, you're not building up your "fun' expenses savings but it's not going down either, so you could still use it if some cool opportunity came up, and you don't need to miss a sale or something because you haven't saved up enough to make a full purchase yet.
I would not pay interest on a loan to have any luxury item now instead of just saving for it over a couple months, though.

Honestly, if you're young and have 0 credit and no real responsibilities, a GPU is not a bad thing to buy on credit, as long as your payment plan doesn't last longer than the warranty. My first GPU was paid on a loan (0% interest, 12 months, provincial co-op bank) when my credit card margin wasn't big enough cause I was 18. My credit wasn't even strong enough to buy a leather couch.
Now I have a car I bought after leasing. Because it's a manual Toyota Corolla Hatchback under 100k km, it's still worth more than the loan balance (23k new, 11k to pay after lease, car is still worth 17k right now.), and the car is gonna be good another decade when I'm done with payments. Sure doing payments suck, but I had a string of junkers. Honestly, I think I paid as much in repairs and buying other beaters than I did for my current car, but not having to worry about my car not going the distance every morning has no fucking value.
