It's generally older and bitterer authors that write about the younger generation coming home and ending their fantasy. Then there's the weird middle ground like Shield Hero or Slime, where the MC basically becomes a god and travels the multiverse with their harem, but also creates a clone of themselves to go back to Earth and wageslave.
