Reminder that the Fallout show creators stole a fan created map of the West Coast that contains made-up locations, and didn't bother checking. Scrapheap and Siri's Town are never given canon locations, the map creator took liberties as to where they were. And Siri's Town is not the actual name of the location, it's only called that because that was the name of the Legion slave who tells the player where she's from.

I think creators that this happens to should be happy that their fan creations influenced the overall series in some way, even if it's not strictly canon and more used as a set piece whether if it's a game or a show. Also if you're spending a ton of time in any given IP which you do not own, I am fairly certain that this is 100% legal to do.This of course can't be enjoyed by a fair number of people who are too deep into any given series, Fallout alone has people stating that everything after 2 isn't canon.
