You're either playing one of the four decks they give you, and winning as many as 90% of your matches, or you're playing something off meta and are lucky to win 33%. The game at a competitive level can be fun. It's just really fucking tiring since they change their selected viable decks relatively quickly. The game is also very mentally exhausting since so much happens at a high level of play.If you just want to hop on and relive the anime, check out the game Legacy of the Duelist. It's older, has an outdated card pool, has a bad UI, and a few rules have since changed. But it's great fun and is on sale quite frequently. It also roughly teaches you some of the newer summoning stuff if you wanted. Mostly optional though so it's unneeded.
