Back in the 7th and 8th gen days there was all this talk about on how Consoles are holding back games due to being less powerful than PC's. Well now it's the opposite. PC's are now holding back consoles.The PS5 gpu is equivalent to the AMD RX 6700 non XT. Yet now if a PC game doesn't run on a GTX 1060 PC bros will fucking cry about the game being "unoptimized".
According to steam hardware survey 2/3rds of PC gamers have hardware that's less powerful than a base PS5.

They're appealing to nobody, and even if they were making products that are appealing, nobody has enough money in the classes they appeal to to sustain their business, so it fails.If they want consoles to work they either need to make consoles that appeal to the rich (Won't happen), make consoles cheap enough for the poor (Selling at a loss) or fix the global economy. (Also won't happen). The business model is unsustainable for a variety of reasons. The PC business model is becoming similarly unsustainable for the same variety of reasons. All assets are trending downwards because the economy as a whole is vastly overvalued, it doesn't have anything to do with one sector of business holding another back.
