Anything with a supernatural/mythical/unexplainable element to it, like in 7dtd there's always a "bloodmoon" on the 7th day where zeds are locked onto you and hunt you and will claw through anything to reach you (and there's "special" zombie types that can spit acid so barricading yourself in steel won't save you). Obviously this is unrealistic, even for a zombie apocalypse, but something like this means you're perpetually preparing for the next death-struggle.
