Doesn’t need to be wholly grounded, the first two games had their moments of levity but it shouldn’t have the playa being involved in Hollywood shit like 3 or outright fantasy/sci-fi like in 4 and Hell. At most the playa should be used by greater powers until the Saints get enough power to act independently.
Why the fuck won't the company that bought volition just remaster SR1 & 2? That's all you gotta do to revitalize the franchise. Especially with everybody still waiting for GTA6 whenever that shit releases in 2027 or so.

I hope every single name in the credits for Saints Row 2022 is blacklisted from the industry
