Being sexy is not a feminine trait but a combination of traits we label as sexy. A "cool" character might have to be at least somewhat attractive or be able to hide their features because I do think being cool necessitates some base level attractiveness but I can imagine traits that could make the character less sexy or at least not increase sexyness, like melancholy, wealth and status, and some terminal condition.

Asking to make a woman look "cool" is asking to make her behave like a man, and to pull it off you have to max out her looks stats to the point where she inevitably looks like a supermodel because i guarantee you very few people like to look at "cool women" who don't look like 11/10 and we call those people "lesbians".With female characters, you keep running into that reality wall of reproduction, because humanity only exists to reproduce, any other answer is pretentious horseshit. So the two sexes only exist because the species had to maneuver around constantly evolving viruses, therefore reproduction exists to constantly update the genetic code of the species so that it continues to survive in the ever evolving natural world which is full of dangers, contrary to the equally horseshit idea that "mother nature" loves and protects and whatever else bs koolaid gets swallowed by new age feelgood idiots.Because the female sex only exists to reproduce(male sex has other purposes, more varied), society cannot look at the female sex in any other way but through the lens of their reproductive value, because humanity only exists because of reproduction and the value you assign to people also 100% depends on that, which is why attractive people aka genetics with increased resistance to viruses and pathogens are treated better in society, you want more of them, not less.So invariably when you want to design female characters, you have to first make them attractive(unless you want to write something weird or experimental) because in that way you use already existing human biases informed by evolved biology to create something that will already be liked. After you make the female characters attractive, you can slap as many "male" characteristics such as the "cool".
