>mid range gaming pc is around $1500it's fucking over.
>>729852461they both at the frontline now, rip lil homies
>>729852461My pc cost $300 dollars, it plays Xcom, splinter cell, metal gear, and dark souls. 60fpsLet me guess, you need more?
>>729852461I wish I had somebody to care about me as much as that.
>>729852461Good thing anything worth playing runs on a 10 years old mid range pc
>>729852824trooth nook
>>729852824YEAH WHAT ABOUT ON AN 8K MONITOR WITH 220HZ REFRESH RATE?
>>729852461Look, I didn't think this exact scenario would happen but I expected things to get tougher for us. We don't need men playing video games, we need men out working and starting families. That is part of why I'm pleased about all this. I've worked to afford my PC and I get a nice half hour to play it after work and before the kids get home from school. I guess I'm just trying to say this is a good thing for those of you who have no education or are on welfare. It will be a kick up the arse, so to speak.
>>729852461>mid range gaming pc is around $1500$700 if you DIY.
>>729852934>I got minethe quintessential boomer
>>729852461I set up a rig with a 9070xt for 750. If you're being budget conscious you can get much lower. I'll be finishing a 5060 rig for a friend with a total cost of 280, and it'll be able to run everything worth playing. I only sprung for the 9070xt on account of misguided hope, and everything I couldn't run on my 980ti so far has been pretty shit infested with woke garbage.
>>729852461>10 AAA games are 700$Its nothing if you pirate
>>729852934Kys boomercuck
>>729852461Stop being poor.
>>729852934>Men need to work like I do>I get off half an hour before grade school lets outYou need to work on your bait, anon
>>729852461What kinda dogshit parts are you gonna use if you're getting a mid-range build going at just $1500?
>>729852461a mid range gpu is 1500 bucks lmao
After selling a CSGO skin for 90 cents and 15 years later it turned out to be $700, and after I sold bitcoin right as it was about to jump 80%, I think buying a brand new PC right as parts are about to skyrocket is the one and probably only time I got lucky with pricings.
>>729852461the only thing over is your dream for a midrange pc gaming rig. Meanwhile for those of us who aren't poor, life continues normally.
>>729852461Prebuilds are 6000$ right now.and with a 5080/32gb of ram mind you.You have no idea.
>>729852934Fuck that. Videogames til I cant and then suicide. This world sucks too much to exist to pay taxes for third worlders to live off.
>>729857654That can't be right. It would mean prebuilts are cheaper in canada and the uk.
>>729857857You're right. it's 5090/64gb price.but still.Shits fucked big time.
>>729858281Things are still fucked from the GPU crash but taking inflation into account things aren't that bad right now.I just got a prebuilt for £2.1k with 5070ti 16gb, R7 9800X3D.Last prebuilt was a 1080 and i7 in 2018 for 1.5kIt's not crazy yet, but people are either gonna get stuck with the last gaming computer they're ever buy, or some mid range shit they wish they'd waited a little longer on.
>>729858542>>729858281>>729857857>>729857654Want to know what's actually fucked?Prebuilts might become an actual competitively priced option for everyone eventually.Manufacturers like Dell and Lenovo have been stockpiling parts like memory cells for a long time in 2025 to protect their prebuilt market. You might just have to deal with bloat and a pc you can't really upgrade, but the prebuilt sector is in position to aggressively take a place (even with subscription based
>>729852461why would you want to own a mid range PC for $1500, when you can subscribe to a high end PC streaming service for just $30 a month? That's right, for just $50 a month you'll be able to subscribe to a mid range PC streaming experience? Indeed, for just $90 a month, you'll be able to subscribe to the basic range PC streaming package using genuine refurbished AI data centre parts, and for only $35 a month extra you can have multiplayer with a guaranteed 250 minimum ping!
>>729858872My 4090/64dd4 is mid now, but thanks god I own that.>subscriptionFucking kill me.
>>729856108Could be a plumber or electrician
>>729858872>dell and lenovo becoming prebuilt gaming kingsThat'd be hilarious if it happens. Depends how smaller build companies survive this. Their prices are already going up, which will either make people build their own or go to Dell etc. I actually saw a decently priced Lenovo like yesterday but skipped over it because Lenovo.
>>729859006This is a bad thing.... because?
>>729859006>>729859234Don't forget the generous 100 hour per month limit, regardless of your chosen plan, premium or plebian! That's right! A whole 100 gaming hours per month. But don't worry, if you by some slim chance exceed that generous number, you can pay just $5.99 for a whole 15 more gaming hours!
>>729852461Don't lean your head back it's a bad idea you'll throw up when the blood runs down your throat
>>729859234>just let corporations leech you even more bro
>>729852934This is the most homosexual thing I've ever seen posted on 4chan and I've seen guys posting about sucking dicks.
>>729852824even a lot of newer games run well on my 8 year old midrange, as long as you dont play whatever ebin story game or fps released this year
>>729852461The fuck are you talking about, a midrange was 1500 half a decade ago, now it's over 2k
a 9070xt pc built with that money will be at worst on par with the ps6the ps6 will have 52 udna CUs while the 9070xt has 64 rdna4 CUs
>>729852461
>>729859234Because are borrowing from your future to impoverish your present. All that do this will not survive.
>>729852461i play vidya all day every day and genuinely never even felt the need to upgrade my mid-range PC from 2015i dont feel anything when i look at the new AAA releases
>>729859936your monitor sucks
>>729852960>>729856152>go to newegg>check pc picker>entry level pc is 1.2kyeah.. its literally fucking over.
>>729852461>$1500Depends on what you mean by midrange. For me mid range would be comfortable in QHD and for that you need at least a 5070TI or 9700XT. That's already $800.
