She then begins a journey as one of the UNSC's rogue AI's, which leads a campaign against humanity in Halo 5, resulting in Master Chief trying to save her. Then in Halo 6, or Halo Infinite, Master Chief tries to reconcile with Cortana's deletion by marking up the new AI, The Weapon, as his advisor.

It's funny how they changed their name to "Halo Studios", like it's going to change anything. I've read a lot of Halo comics and books and the stories are generally well thought out and interesting. Even read the most recent one "Edge of Dawn" and it was good. Which makes me wonder, how the game story is still shit? Like after 3 games you'd think they focus the fuck up by now.

They should have done something like that with Cortana. Have her get rescued by some Forerunner AI who tells Cortana to be an arbiter of peace. Then Cortana gets the wrong idea of how to establish peace or something, kills the Forerunner AI and takes over the Forerunner infrastructure that way.
