>years pass, game is still in early access
>>7298546892bf they've released a bunch of new shit over time and its all free
The amount of shit to do in this game for "early access" is astounding.
>>729854737>>729854745what's changed? i played at launch, but i thought about picking it up again today
>>729854737>>729854745An advertisement, you must purchase.
Eh it's only been 2 years and they've added a fair amount of shit, there are much better examples of negligent early access games...like Project Zomboid.
>>729854782Level cap is like 50 I now I think (me and my friends took a break for holidays), so we only reached around level 25 and it was the endgame cap back when it released. Animal breeding, water system, snow biome, jungle biome, huge trees forest, new talents, new armor sets, new building blocks, I think is pretty much double the amount of content it had on launch.
>>729855076is it the kind of EA where the main quest line is unfinished? or can i play it and "finish the game" but it's just rough around the edges in some parts
>>729854689>>729855076I really enjoyed Enshrouded. I was thinking about coming back sometime. Valheim really did it for me, the ambience and survival and biomes was a really fun gameplay loop to me.I was thinking of Checking out Runescape Dragonwilds. Anybody have a review or verdict? How does it compare to the former two?
>>729854689Usually one of these,Project too largeLack of skillNot enough funding
>>729855792They are building it like a skyscraper. Solid foundation, attention to details, they make sure the floor is ready before moving to the next one. So ye, the endgame is not there, but the journey up until you reach the "end" is quite fun.
>>729856362this, the game is unfinished but it doesn't feel like it.
I've been considering this game but this thread reeks so blatantly of shill I don't think I'll touch it
>>729856362>>729856430so it's like gachas or mangas, no ending in sight but it's got a few good chapters to play through? on another note, what difficulty do you guys recommend?
>>729856559you can adjust the difficulty at any time
>>729857278that's also true. so what difficulty do you recommend?
>>729854689at least post a game that has no excuse. velheim was an indie slop tuber success and made millions. https://store.steampowered.com/app/892970/Valheim/
>>729857329Custom difficulty Default Enemy Damage & HealthLow Enemy StaminaHard Enemy Attack frequencyMany Enemy AmountShit's chaotic when you're cleaving through small armies of monsters, and you have to fight multiple copies of a boss at the same time.
>>729854782The last huge patch was physics based water, it's pretty impressive though still prone to breaking. I really hope that that's the last major multi-year dev project for a while since the game seriously needs work in very basic areas like "literally the entire combat system", my rating of the game is still>Building=good, the rest of the game is clearly just built around this>Exploring/Survival=Exploring can have some cool stuff, the game honestly does look really good for a Minecraftlike but 99% of exploration is made irrelevant as soon as you get the best glider+Updraft+Double Jump>Combat= Passable at best, but easily the least polished part of the game by far.>"Colony Sim"/Village Management= The game is not either of those things, and that's a shame because it would be better if it was in my opinion.Overall my TL;DR review->If you like making Minecraft autism lairs=good, if you don't, skip it.
