Plus XIII still has all that 720p-era Vaseline smear and the PC ports are jank unless you're modding them to hell. They'd slap on some AI upscaled textures, repackage that hallway simulator, and boom-$60 "Remastered Edition" easy. You know it’s coming.

Remake this, remaster that, who gives a fuck if the IP owners cannot manage the long-running series without bastardizing, diluting and washing out what made them appealing to the original audience in the first place?It's a fucking travesty that the most fun I've had with a "Final Fantasy"-esque game came from the goddamn UFO 50 of all places.
