The problem is that the Switch 2 gets lesser ports, which is why people write off the non indie multiplats and that leads to the focus on exclusives. The indies at least are on par with their releases elsewhere, something like RE9 running at half the FPS is a deal breaker for many.

Gaming today is so oversaturated with different types of games, most of them bland, that it makes it harder for Nintendo to come up with good ideas. You can blame the indie scene for that.
