How replayable is pic related? Planning to buy deluxe edition and sink hours into this, seems fun, i used to play old ones on ps2.
>>
it's made for replayability, you're actually supposed to replay the map multiple times before going to the next map, just to unlock new items

if you're on PC pirate it with Peacock, since the game is always online, and Peacock makes offline progression to work, and you can play any time limited fomo content at any moment you want and there's a lot of that

Very replayable. On top of the piles of assassination path cheevos in the story mode missions, there's also a roguelike gamemode where your targets are randomized with different challenges.
>>
>>729863709
You are supposed to replay each stage over and over again with different approach/method
There's incentive to do so as it nets you exp that will get you new gear to bring at the start of the mission
1 mission can take you hours to really finish.

It took me about 300 hours to get the Platinum
There's still stuff I have left I could do, grinding out Freelancer, doing the sniper map bullshit for the Arctic rifle (I will probably never do this), but I'm playing other things for now

Thats the thing, i wanted to try freelancer, i can get the deluxe version for about 20$, you say i should pirate it regardless?

if you're just doing Freelancer it doesn't matter too much, but even then it helps with performance. You're not going to randomly get booted out of a mission because you lost network connection for a split second (you can't even play Freelancer in offline mode in the regular game)
>>
extremely, i have in some cases like nearly 100 hours in a single map like paris
>>
>>729863709
Really repayable
you can replay the story missions 5-7 times
But freelancer is where all the meat is

nope, you are supposed to rush in, headshot the target and then never engage with the rest of the level.
shame, it was pretty short

The atmosphere and narrative sucks compared to contracts and blood money.
>>
>enter level
>shoot red guy
>leave
kinda boring desu

They have 2 fully function maps in the free demo. Go try them out. If you can't replay these two for hours it's not really worth buying the full game.
>>
You're supposed to replay maps repeatedly. There are heaps of achievements around killing the targets in all sorts of ways, sometimes in very very particular ways you'd need to fully understand the map/NPC routines to know how to pull off.
Then there's Freelancer Mode assigning random NPCs as your targets and gives you additional challenges to fulfill to raise your mission payout.
>>
I only played the first 4 maps in the game and you can't reset your progress (you can replay the missions obviously) so I don't want to go back to the game because I don't want to start from the mid-point of the first game with a bunch of stuff unlocked already.
>>
I got a combined 500 hours over all three games.
Unless you're going to use guides for the challenges you can easily spend 100-150 hours on that alone.
And Freelancer mode was a much needed breath of life. Practically turned it into a brand new game.
>>
>>729863709
It is insanely replayable. I spent 150 hours just playing Freelancer before discovering mods which then led to another hundred hours.

hundreds of hours of replay value
if i ever get into VR i might even sink another couple hundred just re-playing everything

isn't that superhot?

i love that this guy is looking for his lost gun but isn't it on the wrong side of the checkpoint assuming it's for players that don't already know their way past?
>>
>>729868710
create a second steam account and share the game with yourself?
>>
>>729871101
No, I'd rather play a different game than literally the only game in the world that doesn't let you simply start anew. If you can't just give me a "start a new game" option and instead I'd have to ask them formally to delete my account then I simply won't bother with the game.
>>
>>729871703
i know CJ would do speedruns of the challenges but i don't know what method he used for resetting
