I was hoping you could suggest a wireless controller to buy for my gaming laptop
I want to play games like FighterZ and Halo: MCC with someone
Should I go for the official Xbox controller or something like Zebronics?
Thanks

>official Xbox controller
That is around $65 so let's stay in that prince range. 8bitdo Ultimate 2 is $60 and comes with more features such as tmr sticks, a charging dock, extra bumpers, and an option for quick stop triggers. It still has gyro too if that matters. The bluetooth latency is bad but the wireless dongle latency is good.
If you want to go cheaper you can get a Gulikit ES Pro. It's around $30 and has all the important stuff like gyro and tmr sticks. The latency is also very good.

8bitdo ultimate 2C is $25 and better than the xbox controller in most respects

gulikit kk3 max is the undisputed champion of xbox form factor controllers. can also be used on a switch, which could be handy. analog trigger toggles, back paddles if you want them. just really high quality.

imo ds4 is great.
Most modern controllers develop drift and aren't built to last.
DS4 isn't exception but if you clean it once every 2 years fully it will work for years.
On top of longevity good d-pad, buttons don't stick like in 8 bit shit.
>>
>>729864487
I was hoping that you could shut the hell you're mouth
>>
>>729864487
I like the shape of the xbox controller but you WILL have to replace the bumpers (L1, R1) once a year because they're designed to break.
>>
>>729867880
if you knew anything about controllers and had ever taken ANY of the big 3s controllers apart you would know the ds4 is easily the most cheapely, poorly made one. absolute dogshit, you are objectively incorrect.
>>
>>729868109
well duuuh, I don't want to get a shit controller I have to resolder analog to. DS4 only requires cleaning to stay functional cheap or not, it works.

>8bitdo
Why can't this dumb cunt company just put out a controller with normal color schemes readily available? I don't want some pastel green/light blue/purple controller. Not to mention the 2c is the only viable controller they make cause the rest of then have retarded shit like rgb lights under the thumbsticks.

ds4s have the softest analog silicon of any of the other controllers so you get premature wear on them.

on top of that, the triggers use an L-shaped spring to keep their tension that has a SINGLE bend in it, so they soften and lose their spring extremely fast. the xbox controller uses an entire coiled spring. the switch pro controller is just a button so it doesnt matter.

the dualshock 4 is easily one of the worst manufactured controllers ive worked on and ive worked on all of them. stop recommending it. why would you recommend it anyway instead of a dualsense?
>>
>>729868831
>the dualshock 4 is easily one of the worst manufactured controllers ive worked on and ive worked on all of them
Survivor bias, Based on all reviews and recomendations all the other ones die at a bigger rate with worse shit that isn't possible to repair easily, since I was looking for a modern controller also.
Plus mine works still after clean up so I will shill it.
>>
>>729870132
its not survivorship bias i didnt say ive worked on more ds4s i said ive worked on all controllers.

the dualshocks are objectively built the worst. this is not opinion. xbox controllers will easily outlive them in normal use. switch pro controllers are built better with the exception of using really bad analogs so they drift like nobodies business.

>Based on all reviews and recomendations all the other ones die at a bigger rate
yeah go ahead and provide a source for that bud
>>
Mobapad Huben 2

Ok, produce proofs
>>
>>729870528
my proof is anecdotal, its my own experience, my own knowledge which im happy to admit and ive said in my posts. its based on me working on them.

you said
> Based on all reviews and recomendations
so provide those you fucking faggot retard
>>
>>729864487
got an official xbox controller but it's not that good
i only used it for a year or two barely and the left stick is already drifting and having other issues
plus you can't turn off the led or dim which is really annoying
feel like the 360 controller lasted longer
>>
>>729870596
well my proofs are on anons posting on 4channel you dumb gorrilla nigger when asked about controller drift and if they had to replace it or not

I mean, fuck even this thread has one

There are much better 3rd party options than the big three for even cheaper

I used to be a huge gaming laptop fan, but steam deck made that obsolete. Which game do you want to play that you need a gaming laptop and where?

When it comes to fighting games, I'd trade all of those features for the Series controller D-pad. I can't play on anything else since I tried it.
>>
>>729872332
I have it and this gamepad honestly slaps, I prefer asymmetrical design so + from me, build quality is good, is comfortable and latency is decent, although one might get used to clicking sound of buttons, also is not that expensive.
>>
>>729872528
How about literally any game where you want to see it at an acceptable screen size?
>>
>>729864487
you'll need a stronger controller than that OP

The microsoft xbox wireless controller for windows is great. You may think you are getting scammed or be skeptical of spending that amount of money. But as being mainly a PC gamer my entire life except childhood, I can say it is totally worth spending that extra money on it. Really great sticks and triggers. Near perfect controller.
>>
>>729866020
>dock
worse than AAs
>back buttons
hit them constantly by accident
>quick stop triggers
made to break
8shit gets credit for still using an actual 2.4ghz dongle but they feel like shit and are way too small, the straight vertical handles and tiny face buttons are bad
