Is there any reason to buy a PS5 over a PC? There’s like one game that’s still on PS5 with no PC port and everything else seems to run like shit

GTA 6 will come to NS2 so I'll wait until they announce it. Then I'll pirate it on PC.
>>
a used ps5 is $300, good luck building a PC for that much
>>
>>729867658
how much is online
>>
>>729867963
$60-70 for a year if you shop around for ps plus cards

I haven't owned a console since the 360.
Never looked back.

>everything else seems to run like shit
did they tell you that on your steam shill "tech" youtuber videos?
>>
>>729867412
I would get a PS5 Pro at this point
>>
>>729868682
paying $750 for a console that will be obsolete in 5 years is a tall ask
>>
>>729868715
not really
>>
>>729868783
$750 and an extra $100 for online each year equals $1250.
>>
>>729868919
if you want to play games at high fidelity you have to pay money

>>
>>729869405
looks better than ps5 probably even better in motion
>>
>>729869405

Would you rather play a game that looks good for $400 or play the same game and it looks and plays slightly better for $1500-$2500?
>>
>>729868442
this pic aged like milk
>>
>>729867412
Right now and in the near future the console argument is only going to get stronger with how insanely expensive PC RAM, GPU’s and even SSD are going to get.
>>
>>729869604
$400 can boot the game
$1500 crashes mid way

>price
>PS ecosystem
>physical copies
>ease of use
>gaming habits (sitting at desk in your room vs couch in the living room)
Yes you can bring your PC to your living room and hook it to your TV and there are ways to stream from your PC too but the simple fact remains that a console is a simple and straightforward solution that is designed for the living room with no distractions while PC gaming is something you do in your room playing on your gayming chair on your 27" monitor with constant distractions getting in the way of vidya.
I think the PCMR argument doesn't really hold true anymore this generation, with the previous generations games were seriously compromised to run on consoles, barely reaching 30fps with dips to low 20s, long load times, sub low settings, sometimes extremely buggy and barebones compared to what PC could offe. But the SeX/PS5 have pretty much the same features as a mid tier PC, worse even AAA slop often runs better on consoles because it doesn't suffer from shader compilation and traversal stutter.
>>
>>729867963
you don't need to pay for online for most games. it's just cod, fifa, and souls games as the big ones.
>>
>>729868715
I pay more for computers that last for about 6 or 7 years.
>>
Is there any reason to buy a PC over a PS5 when you have other ways to play old games? Name 5 worthwhile PC exclusives from this gen that require a system at least as powerful as a PS5.

There's that shill phrase again.

I want the Gran Turismo experience on PC.
>>
>>729868442
but you still have that same dogshit PC, it's time to upgrade anon
>>
>>729870859
Sony lets you stream Gran Turismo on PC but playing it native is still better on console.

Steam Machine > PS5

> Better games
> Better CPU
> Better upscaling
> Smaller and cuter
> Quieter

>>

yes. What games can you run then?
>>
>>729872052
>No online costs

Motherfucker you wouldn't play online if it was free. Online gamers are tryhard faggots, are they not?
>>
>>729872052
Online costs isn't a valid argument because PC part prices simply make up for what you save
>>
>>729874673
Exactly, so a steam machine at 800 is not worse than a ps5 at 400. They're the same.
>>
>>729875327
Keep in mind that you don't even have to pay for online for free to play multiplayers on PS5 and even if you did, that's 5 years of online without cheaters.
>>
>>729875327
>>729874673
>>729875525
People who already own either a desktop PC or a console aren't buying a steam box.
