>AssCorsa games can be found at top 100 most sold new releases on Steam
>direct drive wheels are finally at an affordable price
>steady concurrent playera numbers for old titles
How do we stop it.
>>
the only 2 (two) racing games on that list are garbage though...
>>
>>729871773
Not s single one of the racing games on steam is actually fun to play and optimize times for. It's pretty much just absolute normalfaggot stuff like the FIFA of car faggotry

Isn't RBR and Wreckfest on Steam?

I'm getting in a racist wheel today. Anyone here play LMU? Is it worth picking up? I haven't played MP racing sims before and I'm not sure I really like any of the vehicles in LMU but I'm not sure what the alternatives are besides iRenting. I'd prefer something like GT which has a wider variety but I'm not gonna buy a PS5 for one game.

RaceRoom is free but I think the recs for newbies are Automobilista 2 and Project Cars 2.
>>

Thanks. I actually own PC2 and have just never played much because it's hard as balls on controller. I'll redownload it and give it a shot.
>>

LMU is currently the best multiplayer sim (ignoring iRenting). Yeah it's hyperfocused on prototype and GT cars, but what there is great, and everything just werks, constantly full races any time of the day.
>Raceroom
Good variety, great ffb, but expensive and only full at peak euro hours, also 95% of its content is never raced online. No real singleplayer
>AMS2
Ehhhh, not a fan of its handling and online is dead, again no singleplayer

Full throttling won't get you away from your problems.

What else is him supposed to get?

For me its Flatout 2 on steam deck.
>>
>>729875386
What about original Assetto Corsa? Its CC is near 10K.

I like drone racism. Motorcycle racism is okay too but compared to cars the lack of drifting makes only having 2 wheels only half as fun.
>>
Did I start a thread when we already had one...?
>>
>>729876409
Dunno, I'm just sharing my thought on them as someone who tried and spent decent amount of hours in just about every sim on the market
>>729877494
Original Assetto Corneto is Skyrim of racing sims, you can mod it into just about anything you want it to be, but at it's core it's just a sandbox with garbage AI. It has good ffb but physics, ehh overrated, not as good as people like to claim. Online isn't that great either, it doesn't work outside of the box as most servers are running various mod combinations you have to preinstall

How the fuck did a golf game end up in the top selling games?
>>
>>729877832
If you make a good game, people will buy it. Shocking, isn't it?
>>729877818
What would you recommend for entry-level? For SP or MP.
>>
>>729875386
Thanks for the advice. I'll cut my teeth for a bit in PC2 career and then decide if I want to shell out the cash for LMU.

>What would you recommend for entry-level? For SP or MP.
LMU for online, clear winner, everything works straight away, nice ranking system, the only game that fully and accurately simulates prototype hybrid systems. But it's not the cheapest if you want DLC and no single player mode until sometime next year.
Give AMS2 demo a try, personally I don't like how it handles but you might. Online in it isn't that great, but you don't need DLCs used on a server to join which is a plus. No real singleplayer, but it has a working championship and decent AI. DLCs are expensive though.
Dirt Rally 2.0 is fun for rally, EA WRC has better singleplayer and in my opinion superiour ffb but it suffers from your typical UE5 issues.

The fuck is native ranked multiplayer.

I fell for the shilling of TDUSC and the retard who has been posting about it needs to come explain himself. I quit after the first tutorial races so let me know if it gets better but the car feels god-awful. There's no sense of anything even remotely car-like about it. If you turn hard at speed, it slightly cants the car. Braking is insanely powerful. The car moves like it's a slab of butter down a chute. It is probably the worst-feeling arcade racer I've played in recent memory and that list includes CarX Street, JDM, The Crew 2, and NFS2015.
>>729879589
I assume that means "without mods or third party stuff"?
>>
>>729879589
Within the game itself, no third party bloat required
>>729879772
I tried to warn you anon, I hope for your sake you got a refund on that garbage
>>
>>729879950
I wanted to give it a chance because I had seen threads with people trashing Crew 2 but I actually had a decent amount of fun with it, and people said TDUSC had been improved over the years. I might give it another shot today but it just didn't feel good to play.
>>
Wish Xenia supported wheels and FFB, kinda want to play PGR4 with one.
>>
>>729881225
Did the 360 support FFB wheels? I never had one.
