I was on KDE fedora and 60% of all my games refused to work right. Most were buggy or needed individual settings to get working. After I reformatted all HDD to ext 4 and installed Linux Mint, 90% of them work.

On Arch? Install the old driver from AUR. I think CachyOS may actually have the ability to detect which driver you need and install the correct one, so you can try that for the time being instead.
