Why are action gacha games so popular lately? You can pick a random Tamsoft game and it will have better combat and more pantyshots.
>>729890721flashy spazzing animationsthey always do hundreds of spins for some reason
>>729890721>misses every one of S11's slash timings once the charges run outI'm not sure what this webm's supposed to show, but it sure isn't how easy playing well is.
>>729891465>pretending to be retarded
>>729891839I don't think you're pretending.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbqKfii2cqgthis is what actual gameplay is btwthe issue is just that making a team that plays like this costs money, but if you have it the game is fun
>>729892497>the issue is just that making a team that plays like this costs moneySo... buy an actual video game instead?
>>729892709i was simply showing what the game actually looks like, instead of the disingenuous OP webmmaybe its for rich chinese people, i dont know, i dropped the game because i didnt want to spend money, either way they are popular regardless of if either of us think its a good value deal
>>729892497I don't play the game but is this a whale player? If so, how much money do you reckon it takes to build the team they're using in the video?
>>729893110if you played from the start you can easily have 3 teams of full limited characters, some with their weapon, with no money spent. I spent like 100 bucks on ZZZ and am only missing 6 out of the 32 or so limited characters, and have several signature weapons as well and some dupes. But I played every day from day 1.
>>729893760>if you played from the start
>>729893110i counted 13 limited 5* items between weapons and characters, definitely not f2p but maybe dolphin.they've probably dropped a few hundred on the game over its lifetime but they arent spending thousands every month, if i had to guess maybe 300-500 lifetime in straight purchases and probably another 200-300 in monthly stuff over the course of the whatever year and a halfthe ceiling is way higher than this, but this is also pretty far above the floorits an "infinite hp" boss challenge with a time limit to see how much damage you can deal in 3 minutes, 20,000 points (i dont remember what the actual damage number is) is the maximum for all of the rewards from the mode, and is what most players are shooting for, but it goes all the way up to 65,000 with the later parts being exponentially more health than the first few hp bars/score amounts, so when you see "50,000 points" its not just 2.5x the damage of a full clear its way more
Do people really play these for the panty shots?
>using a support as main dpsWhy is 4chan so brown lately?
>>729892497>press a button and the characters does a dozen different animations because the game has to account for touchscreen controls and make execution braindeadAmazing gameplay.
>>729894037And physics.
>>729890721free market fixes itself
>>729892709it is easier if you spend money, but if you enjoy a challenge and like to play with luck or against the odds, you don't have to spend any money
>>729894087
>>729894239unironically more complicated gameplay than elden ring, but people like fromslop because its flashyDPS race fundamentally requires more skill than "dont die" because if you are losing seconds you are losing score, managing buff uptimes and resources is better than>"this guy is really hard to dodge and he kills you in one hit"but you dont actually know or care, and this is just a (you) for you anyways.i dont like the game because of its monetization and unskippable story, if it was actually just a regular paid product i would hold it in higher regard than most modern games because its interesting and has sexy girlshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jxYrKtaF5k
>>729894638>more complicated gameplay than elden ringParty games made for children have more complicated gameplay than elden ring, that's not a flex.
>>729894638>people like fromslop because its flashyI'm not the biggest FS fan around but saying this while defending ZZZ is a level of cognitive dissonance I haven't seen in years.
>>729894638I say that because I did play the game for a while (deadly assault and all) and that was the reason I dropped it, there's such a huge disconnect from what you're inputting to what is happening on the screen that it doesn't feel rewarding to play. The enemies barely feel interactive because you're just doing your optimal rotations and dodging/parrying when the game tells you to with a big flashing light.
>>729894764it is the defacto "most popular action game" so it is the bar for comparisonif you want a more nuanced discussion then something like DMC has a lot of complexity but in much more different areas. juggling, style switching and movement are king, and learning what moves you have access to, how long they stun an enemy, what direction they are pushed, where it moves you to, etc are how DMC gives the player freedom of expressionsomething like nioh isnt quite as choreographed but it has a lot of depth in the kinds of momentum you can get in it. pressuring stamina, building status effects up, enabling temporary buffs via unique mechanics like purification, weapon skills, stance switches, etc let you build out a really complex RPG character that isnt just an excel sheet of statsZZZ has a lot of different mechanics that trigger a lot of different things, the whole game is spinning plates on top of being an action game. fitting in something like swapping to a character and activating an ability so you can turn on a necessary buff is something you have to figure out, especially when the enemy is trying to kill you. you dont want to wait too long because you are gutting your efficiency, but if you carelessly swap you might eat shit and die, or waste uptime during something like an invulnerability phase.its all about filling bars an emptying them in optimal ways.the gameplay i posted in >>729894638 has a character that gets a resources when she does a status effect on the enemy, and gets even more of it if she has another teammate do a different status effect on them (causing a big damage effect called "disorder" and wipes both, allowing you to stack them again for more resources)when you get full meter, you can do a big AOE sword attack that does a lot of damage, and you can swap out during it and act on other characters and still get the full effect, its really cool.
>>729894239This fucking gacha, games that aren't meant to take any skill or else lose profits, is harder than any AAA game released on the last 5 years lolYour indian ass just cannot admit a chinese company made a good game.
I miss the deep, rewarding gameplay of Dragalia Lost.
>>729890721>attacking with support character>just dodging and dealing no damageThis is like playing dark souls without a weapon and just rolling.
>>729890721>>729891315>>729895772Many people find most Gatcha games to be boring, as they are mostly simple RPGs or strategy games focused on stat checks rather than tactical thinking. With an action game, you can do the same thing. Because it's more flashy and requires more button presses, you can keep the player engaged without actually challenging them.
>>729890721bro this girl is not supposed to be on the field for more than 2 seconds
