>>729897984No. Competition is a universal thing, not just limited to prey/predator scenarios. For instance, let's say your introduced a bunch of Pyroar into the African savannah. How long do you think it'll take for them to outcompete African lions? They'd take control of all the lions' territory, steal all their prey and drive the lions off. Cheetah were able to carve out a niche by being the fastest animals around at the expense of all else, but when you have Pokemon that can learn shit like Agility and Extremespeed while also retaining enough offensive ability to drive away other competing predators, cheetahs will go extinct as well.
