Holy shit this is really the future of gaming
>>
>put stress on head, neck, and eyes
>smash hand into nearby objects

Mark Zoidberg is a faggot, VR is crap
>>
I want more flat games to have a comfy VR mode so I can have an immersive view and recline but still use a normal controller to play the game

That's basically all unreal engine games you just press inject and play
>>
>>729897385
You can play every flat game with a mix of vorpx, luke ross, and uevr.
>>

There's like 3 good vr games, minigolf, pilot games, and alyx that's it.
Thats not worth a 500 dollar quest 3.
>>
VR will only have its place in gaming when it can replace a traditional monitor and just be a 360 screen that's comfortable to wear like a pair of headphones.
>>
>>729897074
After playing FZeroGX in VR I can't understand ever playing racing games on a flat screen again.

WOW GAMES THAT HAVE BEEN PLAYED IN 2D!!!

>justifies VR singlehandedly
It is the best VR experience

Moss is only one of those that could be played with a normal controller but even that would be worse because of no 3D

Can confirm, it's like having a brick on your face. It should have been a helmet, but the entire industry went with fucking brick-goggles. We always end up in the worst timeline.
>>
>>729898868
After thousands of hours in Index VR, I don't understand the brick complaints, there are worse issues than the weight.

I think the Frame looks sexy. Even the big screen beyond 2 looks a little dopey compared to the Frame

How did you do that? I have been toying with the idea of making we have F-Zero at home for VR

the main complaint should be the setup for pcvr it takes a few minutes and isn't a streamlined process yet after all these years
>>

That thing is going to be even worse fingerprint magnet than Wii U Pro Controller
>>
valve also played a big part in ruining it since they pushed waggle controls so hard and tied their VR UI to their $300 waggle controls making it really annoying to play real games

So many Nintendo games would be nice in VR and they choose to mod BoTW of all things. Especially the Prime games and Skyward Sword.

Whats the best vr experience you guys have had?
For me its pic related.
The dreamlike enviorments, the ambience, and realistic physics make it my go to game.
Its so comfy and immersive.

While I agree there are many more games deserving of the VR treatment, I think BotW is still among them. Haven't tried it myself yet, but if it controls well I could see it being an amazing VR experience just exploring alone.
>>
>>729900074
RE Village, so much so that when I played Alyx, it felt a little underwhelming.

Rez Infinite and Ancient Dungeon VR are strong contenders, also. l.
>>
>>729900074
Batman Arkham Shadow. Iron Man VR from the same devs is good too.

Other than those, flight games easily. I always prefer playing in third person in those games because I have problems gauging distance in a flat screen but in VR it's different. Playing Project Wingman and experiencing those Cordium explosions in first person VR is something else. Only way it can be better is if I had those forcefeedback vests and chairs so I can actually feel the explosions.

>>729900074
I so desperately wish I had friends to play this with
>>
>>729897074
I just watch porn on my quest 3.
>>
>>729901347
Faggots of /vrg/ play it regularly (they're literally gay)
>>
>>729901621
/vrg/ is just a vr chat general. I checked out the board once and was extremely disappointed. I want to play with normal folk that actually play video games.
>>
>>729901779
You are correct, but if you ask around you can get the golfers to come out of their caves.
>>
>>729901621
I'm not but I pretend to be gay in their lobbies to fit in

Yeah. Every time I try to open a conversation about an actual game it gets ignored. But I still lurk there because I don't know any better place to discuss VR other than these rare threads on /v/
