The sword seems really low range and yes we have shit like the bow, boomerang, bombs, bombos, etc but it all felt like the combat heavy areas like the run in the castle after the three pednants were put in without being tested properlyLike with bosses, it's fine mostly but a lot of it felt like it just had no good movement or thought put into it yet the enemies did have these mechanics.

>>729907485Eh, it depends. TP is one of those Zelda that hyperfixates on some areas to excel in and almost completely neglects others. It's one of those games where if you like its good parts, it's damn near a masterpiece but if you're a fan of the parts it doesn't focus on then it's a near unbearable slog. It's my favorite Zelda personally but its divisive nature has never confused me. Offhand, if you want to play around with your items in the overworld and just see dungeons as mandatory homework then you're probably not going to enjoy TP very much.

I often think about how Skyward Sword's "2nd act", where you do the dungeons to reforge the Master Sword, was really good and it's just put between a shitty first and third act. If the entire game was the quality of those three revisits and dungeons than it'd be better than OoT, but nope. The third act with the dragons is horrible and the Goddess Statue dungeon isn't even that good.
