I ended up getting resident evil 1 remake and resident evil biohazard. I’ve never actually played resident evil games. I’ve always found horror games boring to play because it’s a lot of mystery solving and fleeing/stealth which bores me. I do enjoy puzzles though so I might try resident evil 4s remake. I did watch people play some RE games. Watched the step bro play RE 1 back in ps1, watched my buddy play some of biohazard and village and another dude play the original RE 4 back in the day. I was turned off by resident evil 2 having Mr x because the dude is invincible.Also, Dying light 1 any good? I like the idea of open co op with randoms. Reminds me of ps3/xbox 360 gaming

>>729916246Project Wingman is a much harder game, it was being made for Ace Combat fans who played 4, 5 and Zero on ACE difficulty and wanted more of just that. It wwas done by a single guy from /aceg/ over at /vg/, during a time when Ace Combat looked like it was on its death bed. Of course, the guy bit off a bit much and it took him about 8 years, so by the time it finished, AC7 came out a year prior. The voice acting isn't good, but the rest of the game passes as an Ace Combat title like it should.

Lollipop Chainsaw was written by James Gunn so I don't know how much Suda involvement there was, outside of the gameplay which is a bit of a mess. Writing is funny, though. SotD is a sad case of Mikami being strongarmed into light-remaking RE4 again and is also a mess. If you want to go deep into the Suda rabbit hole there's his Fire Pro World games that have the entire JP wrestling community still wanting him dead, and that one Twilight Syndrome he wrote, maybe read Kuriyama Dance, but otherwise you're probably good.

The open world might make it feel different at first, but most of the fun is in the areas called Legacy Dungeons, where it feels like a classic, non-open world Souls game, there are also huge underground locations and more even more mini legacy dungeons. You cannot refunded anyways so have fun, I guess.

Stormveil, Leyndell, Haligtree... they feel like Miyazaki remembered "oh yeah, this is what people actually want." Once you wean off the open field and start barreling through the structured content, it clicks. Also, if you haven’t gone deep into Nokron or Siofra yet, you're missing some of the best vibes in the whole game. Just don't auto-pilot the mount into every map marker, start combing dungeons from top to bottom and the game opens up again.
