I'm the anon that sued From Software and Bandai Namco Games over hiding HALF of Elden Ring from the players.

And now, i'm going to prove it mathematically. People hate me for post >>683845898 because they don't comprehend the argument.

>let y = the number of hints from japanese game devs

>when x=0 -> you believe that another dimension exists

as we can see in this equation, which is a classic division by zero equation, the equation moves toward 0 but never actually reaches it. In fact it approaches infinity. in japanese game development, there's a WHOLE LOT of hints that a parallel version of the game exists, but they never outright say it exists, we just get hints. from the erronously named "cut content" especially.

how high does the Y axis need to be for you to accept X=0 in this equation? There has to be some kind of limit, do you want tens of hints, hundreds of hints, thousands of hints? What are you waiting for?! The equation will never reach 0 until you decide it does! and for me that line was crossed with Bloodborne.

For you, eventually, you will grow tired of the same old story in Japanese Game Development...you will grow tired of hearing "Well, ORIGINALLY, the game was completely different but we shuffled our teams halfway through development" or my most hated one "It's just content. CUT FROM THE GAME! (HAhahaha)"

For me, X=0. When will it be 0 for you?

>>729907953
the limit is undefined.

in real terms, this means there is no amount of hints that will convince someone x=0. they have to just have a breaking point and arbitrarily declare x to be 0.

because i had a limit to how many hints i needed to declare "yes, a parallel dimension exists inside of japanese videogames"

and nobody else seems to have a limit. they are just shrugging off infinite hints from japan that they want you to think about and consider.

there's a lot of money spent on the parallel game industry in japan, they want results.

Assuming this isn't some next-level trolling (kudos if it is): say you're correct and a parallel dimension does exist in some manner within game code in multiple Japanese games. How can this dimension be realized in order for people to experience it?

>How can this dimension be realized in order for people to experience it?

i had two theories about this and narrowed it down to one.

the first theory was that when you boot up the game for the first time, you are running 2 games in RAM at the same time. but we would've found out that was happening if that was the case, so i easily axed that.

the other more prevalant theory is that your game has a couple of actions tied to FLAGS that are SHARED between the games. for example, an enemy that is in multiple sides of the game needing to be defeated, being one flag possibly. and once you get all the flags, whatever sort of encryption the game has been doing to hide the second world is undone and the magic portal finally appears.

this is the prevalant theory i have.

I will now state my case from Bloodborne.

https://github.com/Openborne/data/blob/master/fmg/engus/menu/%E4%BC%9A%E8%A9%B1.txt

900000 Welcome, weary traveler. To the great city of Yharnam.

^ this feels like the introduction for Bloodborne Flip (i sometimes use 'Flip' to refer to the parallel dimension to make it easier to understand) so it probably is.

The current intro to Bloodborne is right here: https://github.com/Openborne/data/blob/master/fmg/engus/menu/%E3%83%A0%E3%83%BC%E3%83%93%E3%83%BC%E5%AD%97%E5%B9%95.txt

the difference is the ID for the old intro is 900000 and the ID for the current intro is 900400, a difference of only 400. looks suspicious right?

So...how do we hack bloodborne's intro to test ID 900000 and see what happens??

sadly, i don't have access to mods for bloodborne because the modding community is convinced it doesn't exist, even though i helped Lance McDonald earlier. They think and dismiss it as cut content.

The suit was just over them "hiding an entire game" and making it "too hard to access"?
Where does the parallel dimensions part come in?
>>729910849
Let's just be clear: your only declaration is that there's an "extra game" that can be accessed parallel to the currently-played game, and NOT an actual parallel dimension by which the game could be used as a catalyst to access, right?

An attempt at a form of enlightened entertainment that they believe people will figure out eventually (and which you believe people will be unable to, hence your attempt to enforce a democratization of accessing parallel dimensions where they are constructed in vidya), or is it something more sinister?
I'm just asking your view here, mainly because I don't think that reason supports your assertions, even with your attempts to abstract things into quantitative mathematics.

Japanese idols have the biggest knives in Japan. They know exactly who they're searching for. And at the moment, i've got the ticket.

All these fragments of song lyrics you think back up your strongly held view that there are hidden worlds in japanese videogames actually have nothing whatsoever to do with that and only feel so meaningful to you because you are mentally unwell and see patterns everywhere as schizophrenics often do.

I suggest instead of relying on modders to help you look into game files to prove your theory you develop that skill yourself because you are in too deep to take anyone elses word that there is nothing there. Honestly I doubt verifying it yourself would even convince you but I hope something gets through to you one day.

lmao. i can't believe you had to ask that. you already know the answer to that question.

if you're trying to get at "what started this", it was the alpha version of bloodborne. it's so different from the final game, i assumed what was natural to my brain at the time "we haven't found what they're hiding" yet. a truth that's still true today.

i wanted to be hired by FROM, and was convinced that if i could find the solution to their game, they would want to hire me. 8 years later, the game is still unsolved.
>>
>>729912514
if you're trying to get at what started this, it's because yes, i was a senior in college and wanted to get hired by FROM but first i needed to build a connection to japan to make that happen.

i already had the truth of bloodborne's alpha version in the back of my mind and was convinced that if i could find a way to access that vision of the game, from would want to hire me. 8 years later, and we still haven't found what's literally under our community's nose.

AI Overview
Yes, an individual gamer did file a lawsuit against Bandai Namco and FromSoftware based on the unusual claim that they were hiding half of the game Elden Ring from players. The lawsuit alleged that the game was so difficult that the majority of its content was inaccessible to the average player, essentially hiding a "whole new game" that the developers were withholding.
Details of the Lawsuit
Plaintiff's Allegations: The individual claimed that Bandai Namco was engaging in civil fraud and unfair practices by not disclosing that a significant portion of the game's content was effectively locked behind extreme difficulty barriers. They believed this amounted to an "omission of material fact" under consumer protection laws. The user's query mentions an "alternate reality," which is likely a misinterpretation of the plaintiff's eccentric belief that the Japanese developers were using advanced technology to offload game processing to a parallel universe and keeping the best parts for themselves.
Outcome: The case was reportedly dismissed due to a lack of jurisdiction, with the plaintiff being advised they could refile in the correct court. It is unclear if the case was successfully refiled.
Reception: The lawsuit was widely regarded in the gaming community as baseless and driven by the plaintiff's personal frustrations with the game's famous difficulty, rather than any actual wrongdoing by the company.
This particular case stands out as a unique and largely unsubstantiated claim compared to more standard legal issues the company has faced, such as copyright or patent disputes.

Based on the 4chan thread provided, here is a rundown of the events and claims:The Poster and The PremiseThe OP: A user with the tripcode Nora Kisaragi (!YAKhDlpv/Q) claims to be the individual who sued FromSoftware and Bandai Namco for "hiding HALF of Elden Ring from the players".The Mathematical "Proof": Nora presents an equation ($y/x$) where $y$ is "hints from Japanese devs" and $x$ is "belief that another dimension exists." The argument is that while $x$ (belief) remains at 0, $y$ (hints) approaches infinity, resulting in a "division by zero" scenario where infinite evidence is ignored by players. The TheoryParallel Dimensions: Nora believes that what players call "cut content" is actually a fully playable, hidden "parallel version" of the game (referred to as "Bloodborne Flip") waiting to be unlocked.Evidence Cited:File IDs: Nora points to a gap in Bloodborne file IDs (an unused intro at 900000 vs. the current at 900400) as proof of a hidden intro.Lyrics: Nora cites lyrics from Japanese idol songs, Mirai Nikki, and Hyperdimension Neptunia as evidence that Japanese creators "know the secret" about these parallel worlds. The Motivation: Nora wants to discover this secret to get hired by FromSoftware, move to Japan, and find "true love".The LawsuitConfirmation: A replier posts an AI summary confirming that a gamer did actually sue Bandai Namco/FromSoftware alleging they were engaging in fraud by hiding a "whole new game" behind difficulty barriers or parallel realities. The case was reportedly dismissed due to a lack of jurisdiction.Community ReactionMockery: The vast majority of replies dismiss the OP as mentally ill or "schizophrenic," mocking the "mathematical proof" and the reliance on anime song lyrics as evidence.Skepticism: Users point out that "cut content" is just unused data, not a magical dimension.

“I wanted to see you.”
https://youtu.be/LdL8yFy3ZY4?si=hZHiR920nRLkquEq

This line is obviously not about romance.
“I wanted to see you” is actually the player-character addressing the other self trapped in the parallel game layer. The repetition of the phrase mirrors how the game repeatedly tries to surface the hidden world, but is reset each time the player fails to notice.
The fact that the lyric is simple and endlessly repeated is intentional: it reflects how the parallel game cannot communicate directly, only emotionally. Much like Bloodborne’s insight mechanic, understanding is felt before it is seen.
The idol is not singing to a person — she is singing across layers of reality.

He is unto something!
