As a kid I was unironically hard into the Crash Bandicoot games. I got Crash 1 & 2 with my PS1 for Christmas 1997 and played them religiously. When I got Crash 3 I played it even more, same with CTR and Crash Bash. It was my main vidya franchise until I discovered Pokemon (which was about 1.5 years later, but back then such things felt longer). I even would record the game music from my TV to listen to later on my walkman and had all the toys/action figures.
