Eh, not really. You're just paying 50 bucks a year on the off chance you'll want to play an N64 or GameCube game in that time. I remain subbed out of complacency but have often thought about going back to the regular sub.The DLC isn't worth it and doesn't even factor into my valuation of the subscription. I find the idea of downloadable content tied to a subscription more repulsive than a subscription for retro games, at least the latter doesn't require the purchase of additional software to be of use.

the base nso for online and some basic roms is fine for $20. the $50 one isn't worth it unless you REALLY want to play certain n64 or gamecube games and have no other way to play them. like you can probably pick up a wii and hack it and then play gamecube games for not much more.
