Their arcade releases are still great even if they gotten lazy with the yearly IIDX releases.
>>
I'm pretty sure 90% of their revenue comes from pachinko machines
>>
I'll be happy if they just keep releasing remakes. Konami just isnt a video game company anymore (they have fucking gyms lol)
>>
>>729922872
M2 is the sole reason they're still worth a damn

Did this press conference have a negative effect on the company? Was that why they pivoted away from vidya?

shounen of ecclesia sucked
>>

They literally haven't made a game since MGS V and whatever the stupid multiplayer spin off was.

None of the recent games they've been publishing are even made by them. They don't even have developers anymore except for pachinko.

Here is Konami's latest financial earnings report - https://img.konami.com/ir/en/ir-data/statements/2025/en0508_28h9rg.pdf . It covers the 12 month period ending March 31, 2025. In plain English, it states that 69% of all earnings were from video games (249121 / 360314), 7% came from arcade and pachinko combined (amusement), 11% from slot machines (gaming & systems), and 13% from gyms (sports). If you go back to previous reports, similar ratios are found year after year.

Konami has always earned ten times more money from video games than they have from pachinko and arcade games combined. Always. Quit being retarded.

Lazy or not, IIDX is still my GOTY for every year.

https://www.rns-pdf.londonstockexchange.com/rns/2432S_-2009-5-14.pdf . Year ending March 31, 2009. The divisions are not separated similarly to 2025.

Video games, including arcade, not including pachinko: 60% (178939 / 297402)
Gyms : 29%
Gambling / Slot Machines (no pachinko activity stated) : 6%

I'll never forgive them for killing the Bomberman franchise, and the dancing game genre over the last 20 years

they aren't. Konami literally shut down all their video game development after Kojima poisoned the well with his autism. Bro was so bad to work with he ruined it for every other dev at the company who got sent to the pachinko mines.
>>
>>729928124
That literally never happened you complete retard.
>>
>>729928242
really? then what games have they made after Kojima left?
>>
>>729928353
Mobile slop
>>
>>729928052
Bombergirl has to be the highest earning game in the franchise at this point, isn't it? The game is good, man. I'm curious what you mean regarding the dancing game genre given that they did put out Dance Around and Dancerush Stardom on top of recently rolling out DDR A3.

>729928124
(you)
>>
>>729928415
so, like i said, no video games.
>>
People underestimate the eBaseball and eFootball game revenue now that Konami has the FIFA license that EA lost.
>>
>>729928353
It's in their financial reports. Many arcade games too. Go ahead and move the goalposts.
>>
>>729928482
Also PowerPro and MomoTetsu
