Big 1080p 60fps screen, or 1440p 144fps monitor? Dad's saying he could lend me his TV for playing but I'm not sure that's better. I play Souls games, Resident Evil, other horror stuff, and rpgs like Time Stranger and Expedition 33.I do have Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 to push my 4070s but I rarely play them.
>>729926713>Should I play on a big TV with a controller all comfy or should I play like a hunched over /v/tard>Btw the games I play are all slow Low FPS (24 fps) in movies is used to make the movie feel different to real life. Watch an animation that's been boosted to 60fps by AI and you'll think "Wow yeah it's smooth but it's lost its magic". Same with gamesChoose 60fps. You don't need insane FPS to enjoy souls. Even stuff like Cyberpunk, it'll feel more foreign and comfy at a lower fps. Everything being hyper realistic and smooth just makes it all meld together

>>729926713Why not get a 4k 60 Hz screen
>>729927962I didn't have the money for that when I got my setup. The TV is 4k 60 hz, is that different from a pc monitor?
>>729927102It's another>Le movies 24 fpsMovies capture more than an instance of time like a generated frame. They capture the amalgamation of light over 41 ms this generating perfect motion blur. Games don't do this and nothing blur in games doesn't try to recreate this. Also responsiveness of inputs vs just watching
>>729927996No TVs are not usually made to be monitors unless it's high end or OLED . Text will look shitty
GETSUGA
>>729927996pc monitors will have better motion and higher Hz. but if you play console games @ 60fps it's the same
