isn't that flimsy because CC is about timelines? the main CC world is an alternate universe because of timelines bullshit, and there's a third "main" timeline where the reptites won and made loving dragon clown girls a reality so if this is considered then the "CT" timeline from the original game with Crono and Marle NOT JOBBING TO FUCKING DALTON can go untouched no problem.
Not that any of this shit matters because CC dragon breaks the shit out of the ending and the only true confirmation is that Lavos is ultra dead.
