Why do people still play TF2?
>>729946110they do notvalve fakes numbers like alwaysif you actually try and play their games you notice it is all bots, even immortal rank in dota has all bot lobbies, their games are utterly deadeven more so evident is that NOBODY watches tf2 on streaming sites
>>729946110>developers need to update the game or it's le dead and I stop enjoing it
>>729946234They should have done that before the goldrush update
>>729946110My friend said it's easier for him to groom underaged trans boys there only reason he still plays
>>729946234Yes.
>>729946110I quit yesterday after 15 years, 10k hours and hundreds of thousands of frags because the amount of closet cheating that happens in the game now is obscene.I cannot justify spending time and energy to get good at a game, or maintain skill in a game, when it's this rife with cheating.I'm a grown adult. I am so sick and tired of arguing with children who are pretending they're not hacking when they blatantly are. I am sick of being able to INSTANTLY spot a closet cheater who is using some niche cheat (wall hack, silent aim, crit hack, backtrack, fakelag etc.) but having to argue with my team, their team, and their cheater's childish sociopathy to get them kicked. I just won't do it any longer, it's already an almost 20-year old game at this point, it's ridiculous it doesn't have a proper anti-cheat yet.
>>729946519>10.000 hours wasted when you could have invested it to learn any skillI hate being a gamer.
And don't even get me started on the "competitive" scene in this game; already a joke (competitive TF2 and what's more it's done entirely the ass-end wrong way), it's ridden with egos, small penises, catty behaviour, bitchiness, drama, back biting, fake positivty, groomers, cliques, and of course -- C H E A T I N G.Why ... the FUCK ... would you commit to a competitive scene that terrible in a game this rife with cheating? Every match is a sollipsistic experience where you're just not sure if they are cheating or not, and where it's likely that they actually in fact are. There are not really any tournaments for the game anymore outside of maybe one outlier, and it is broadcast to an audience of nobody, no-one gives a fuck about comp TF2 except maybe like less than 500 people globally if that.It makes sense to quit.

>>729946818>To reach Master's Thesis, about 3500 hours are requiredYou could be at Master's level on three different subjects, yet you spent that time on TF. Was it worth it?
>>729946110Last online thread?
>>729946110Because it's fun and all competitors shot themselves in the footAlso best multiplayer game from Valve, period
>>729946970>>729946818Well I mean I considered it a hobby, and it was all since 2011, it's not like it was done in just a few years or something.
>>729946110Better than deadlock btw
>>729946110because it's fun
>>729946234there's a bunch of bugs on tf2 that make the game unplayable at times. If they're making over 20 million dollars off of it, they should AT LEAST put some effort in patching it.
>>729946234developers need to maintain a game at least somewhat proportional to the amount of money it makes
>>729946234Hackers literally run public Valve servers. That is embarrassing.
>>729946110Literally nothing has replaced it. What the hell would I move to? A hero shooter with cooldowns and ults?
>>729947108>Because it's fun Inconsistently. Every time you play tf2 it's a coin flip change hoping for a good game. And if you get a bad game it's for problems that you know could have been fixed if valve gave a shit or weren't massive idiots. Then the game just becomes frsutrating.
>>729946110People that kept playing after the F2P update developed Stockholm syndrome
