I don’t think they need anything groundbreaking, they should just refine what they already have. Like how the story is presented for example. Some people mentioned wanting a more linear story like the console versions. What they could do is improve the presentation of how neighborhood stories play out. Like your neighbors could be a married couple. New neighbor moves in and starts flirting with the wife. They start to have an affair. Instead of all this happening in the background, present it in a way where it’s highlighted as a mini story arc for you to follow. That way things happening around your neighborhood actually feels like a story that you can follow like a living soap opera. The way things are now, it just feels like you’re too removed from the story and you have to fill in the gaps with your imagination.
