>>730043491It's so kino
Sega Model 2 games (mostly) work in MAME now.In case you weren't aware.
I like beat 'em ups. A lot. Specifically Capcom ones. Also go play R-Type Leo, it's overlooked
My dream what-if scenario is Sega releasing a home arcade machine as a premium product. Full sized using one of the monitors from Arcooda.

I do not want to do anything illegal here. But I would kill somebody...in front of their own mama...to get a Daytona USA cabinet.
>>730042696Holy fucking based. Pic related is all the games I got to play when I was in Tokyo back in November.>What's your favorite arcade game?Too many to list but lately I've been into Taito's Ray series (RayStorm is my favorite but RayForce has incredible sprites and RayCrisis has a crazy OST). Overall I like beat-em-ups and rail shooters the most though, I love Capcom's 90s output and the After Burner series.
>>730045469It works in MAME now.
>>730045749God I wanna try that Golgo 13 cabinet.

>>730046096It's a genius mix of Silent Scope and Point Blank where you have to complete really quick jobs of all sorts that have real manga panels setting up the scenario beforehand. It's technically a bit light on the gameplay but the presentation makes it worth it, I love Eighting's light gun games (Ghoul Panic is one of them too) which are underrated compared to their shmup & fighter output. Definitely better than the Lupin game I played that is a pretty standard light gun game outside of the art style matching the series pretty well. >>730045167Love this one. I think I might slightly prefer RayStorm because I love the target painting mechanic but Darius Gaiden is way up there; I'm not very good at shmups at all but I've gotten my credit count for both low by my standards (DG I've beaten with 3 or 4 credits, RayStorm I've gotten down to 8 or 9 when my first run was 19). I need to finally get around to Dariusburst Chronicle Saviors.
>>730046851Before I die, I need to visit a Japanese arcade and 1cc some random game I already did at home only for the sake of.

IIDX forever. I hope the new Pop'n does well enough that it keeps people playing. Idol Money Exchanger is a good game. Galloping Ghost needs to find a way to have players track progress rather than having us take pictures of things as the only way to record plays.
>>730049936I'd rather AvP leave licensing hell than C&D if only because it's very obvious that Capcom loves Linn Kurosawa and would've put her in a bunch of shit if they could (they literally tried to put her in CvS2 and were told no which is why Maki's in there instead).
>>730042696Youve never been to an arcade. You know how i know? You glaze the absolute hell out of them. Look, theyre just absolute shit holes we tolerated to play games that either werent on nintendo or sega yet or werent good enough at home. >>730052851Yeah. I just picked a random arcade background I had saved but man that's a nice one. I love the sense of vertical depth some fighters had with their stages; not common but it's always gorgeous. SF3 NewGen & 2nd Impact have it, but Third Strike scaled back the stages somewhat and put the focus into the new character sprites.>>730053015We hit up several (I was with a friend) so I couldn't name them all, but outside of like three different buildings in Akihabara we hit up the Taito Arcade, a few GiGOs, the Bamco arcade (where I played Extreme Versus 2 and Goldstorm Pirates), and the mall in Odaiba next to the Gundam Unicorn statue.
>>730042696Any arcade vidya recommendations?Been trying a few ones but i want to hear what you guys have to say
>>730059224That's a pretty broad topic, do you have any preferences to go off of? Otherwise, play Capcom's beat-em-ups & Taito's shmups. Those are all classics that'll keep you busy for a while even if you credit feed (but trust me, even if you don't think you can 1CC, trying to lower your credit count is super rewarding).
>>730059631I do like racing and shmups, but anything goes
>>730044212https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLldySmerpw>>730046096I have played it at, probably the only cabinet they ever had in the US. That is an OPTICAL scope, and you need a proper cheek weld stance. The screen itself gives some digital zoom on some levels, and some of the levels require peripheral vision. Also, the standards for the level require Golgo 13's inhuman standards for precision. EG, you lose "life" reputation points for fatal center chest shots. My favorite levels are the one where you when you need to kill a water skier, and the one where you kill someone in the woods WITHOUT leaving any bullet wounds in them. If you ever get a chance, it's a must play. >>730046871Yeah. Silent scope goes with the LCD scope screen and LCD on the monitor on bone eater. Point blank is more traditional. >>730067709I could never quite get into Bubble Bobble but I do want to try more single-screen action games like that. Snow Bros, Tumble Pop and Nightmare in the Dark seem like the ones to try.

>>730068285Isn't that like 100 fucking games?
The Punisher is a character action game.
>>730068261Punisher had the advantage of being a fun bonus for a Marvel vs. Capcom collection, which is a license always worth renewing.AvP, what are you going to do? Release it on its own? Put it in a collection of Capcom arcade games you'll have to delist when you don't feel like renewing?>>730068385Hideki Kamiya called DMC a Stylish Action game, which I think is a much better, more descriptive name for the genre. Character Action tells you nothing, and only gained traction by being the phrase of choice for ecelebs.
>>730068385>>730068845I've come to dislike trying to section off action games like that in general. Sure, separate ARPGs and Musous and side-scrolling beat-em-ups due to very clear systemic/structural differences, but what most people attribute to character/stylish/spectacle/whatever-action is pretty arbitrary. Just assess the combat system on its own merits. "Stylish Action" might work if you limit it to DMC & Bayo (Kamiya's works) and only games that pull very heavily from their design and scoring (W101, Assault Spy, Ghost Rider PS2, etc.) but that's still not the clearest line to draw.Even DMC1 wasn't made in a vacuum. Its juggle combos only exist because of Onimusha. The use of guns & melee combat in fixed-camera rooms with a scoring system that rewards consistency existed in Dino Crisis 2. The collection of currency from enemies used to purchase new moves and small upgrades between stages is straight out of Battle Circuit (and arguably the D&D beat-em-ups).
Went to Round 1 for the first time recently and was amazed at the selection for a state-side arcade. People weren't hogging the DDR machines and I was shocked that most of the people playing were boomers. Guess time flies.
My favorite game is Progear. I like most CAVE shmups, but Progear is my favorite by a long shot. It's the only game I have 1cc'd. I play it on a MiSTercade in my Blast City.
>>730069523I know this photo wasn't taken back in the day because the tires on Abigail's arms were an SFV addition to his design. That said, still extremely based.>only game I have 1cc'dPersonally the only games I've pulled off 1cc-level runs on are ironically non-arcade games. Mostly old console games and indies that are arcade-style, but nothing that was coin-op. I did manage Mighty Final Fight 1ccs with both Cody & Haggar though, whereas in Final Fight 3 it was just Haggar.
>>730042696who cares? daigo sucks now
Play Battle Circuit
>>730068305I've been playing Magical Drop 3 a lot recently, but I might actually prefer playing on console. My left wrist gets tired when playing on a cab.>>730069734It was taken last year. It looks old because it was taken on an instant print film camera. A Fujifilm SQ6, to be specific. I had to look up Mighty Final Fight. Seems cool. I need to play more beat em ups.
>>730070526>I had to look up Mighty Final Fight. Seems cool. They really put in the work to make it worthwhile instead of just a demake of FF1. They lean into the more cartoonish visuals, rework stages, and replace the usual scoring system with an XP bar that increases based on the attack that defeats an enemy (rewarding riskier plays) and unlocks an additional move on higher levels. It's tough but a 1cc is very doable with some pattern knowledge and good performance on the two bonus games.

>>730070901That release is so ancient that it was on the Wii U eshop. I could see Capcom wanting a new version they can add to modern console stores.
Why is this game so fucking hard? I'm having to turn-cancel my attack strings into infinites, enemies have lots of health. First boss is pure bullshit unless you know you can use your desperation move as a dodge that won't drain health if it doesn't hit anything.
>>730072510Why would you even play a game that is known for being shovelware kusoge? I don't get zoomers
>>730072651The sprite work is really good actually. And the anime style attack cutscenes are neat. It's a little janky but it's not bad.
why are arcades either places filled to the brim with raw thrills crap or places with all the stuff rhythm players play why is there no inbetween
What is the name for those japanese arcade cabinets in OP's pic?
>>730072651They play "aesthetic" games to be cool, and play shitty games to be ironic, and sometimes they just mistakenly think we like SHITE like this so they force themselves to like it, so they can larp as us. It happens so often, ive coined the term zoomer revisionism to describe it. Feel free to use it as you see fit
>>730053991starward is a straight clone of exvs gameplay with many characters that are almost 1:1 with their gundam counterpart. the caveat being that it is a chinese gacha game. if you do try it, i highly reccomend switching to the jp/asia servers as almost no one plays on the na ones. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/aZady08bwXchttps://youtu.be/_FojOXEYHlI?t=213
I NEED THE LE AESTHETIC CABYet another case of performative zoomer nostalgia you didnt grow up playing these fucking things, no one outside of asia did. They dont even have art the sole purpose in them is the utility they offer in nip sweatshop arcades lmao in america we have these too theyre called kit cabs and theyre lame. Nobody back in the day wanted to play their favorite game in some conversion / dynamo cab, they wanted to play it in the dedicated cab. >>730073031That's what brings in the money evidently. Granted sometimes Raw Thrills puts out something fun.>>730073078>>730073078These lose their luster once you actually visit Japan and see a huge line of them all playing different games; it doesn't have the appeal of American arcades with dedicated cabs.
>>730072823>>730072510Poor ex-Toaplan devs made this after they went bankrupt which is why it's decent, but they definitely rushed this shit out. You can't see this ending unless you go into the debug menu, if you actually clear it you just go straight to credits then title screen
>>730073807Wait, Virtual On is on PSN?!
>>730073883Exactly. As a former candy ownerInitial reaction: THIS CAB CAN BE ANYTHING!!!!After owning a cab for a while: this cab can be anything...Its soulless, literally. A japanese cab... is just a box.
The whole candy cab soft uwu aesthetic is so... soi. It lacks additude. Feels likes its made for small children and women.

I'm glad I live in one of the few American cities that still has multiple arcades. I've been spending the past 4 years working on my 1ccs.I'm probably going to take a break once I finally get L.A. Machineguns finished
>>730075175Don't buy Cowabunga Collection.
I'm big into light guns. I'm still waiting for a decent way to play Silent Scope at home, at this point I guess I'm just waiting for Xbox emulation to get good enough because that's the only version with light gun support. Maybe in 20 years someone will finally emulate the cabinets and I can just mount an LCD screen in a scope to a positional gun.
>>730074640Candy cabs are great because of that, though. You can run any game on them. The good ones even let you tate the monitor with a single person. Is a dedicated cab better? Sure, if you only want to play one game on it.

Health and safety laws still let them (even China had to observe changes) but that changed in the very early 2000's or late 90's . . .The other clues all can be from that period too. High quality camera, with a flash, Sammy had games in 90's iirc. Raiden Fighters Jet 1998. . . I wish arcades were still a thing. They kind of are but it's not the same. Most of them shut down and the ones that didn't are just shit games and claw machines and they all cost way too much. I still remember the one in West Edmonton Mall, it was right by the food court, me and my grandma would go "in to town" for the day and walk around while she bought whatever at Sears and The Bay sometimes. She'd get us some food, and some of that blue pepsi (that I wish I could try again cause I remember it being awesome)Seeing all the neon lights flashing through the window while we ate and shit, they had those water arches that went over the walkways. It was just so fucking cool, they don't really make stuff like that anymore, everything is all minimalist and bleak looking in there now. Then you'd go in and all the older kids were in there with their friends and stuff. It left an imprint on young me.Maybe I actually just miss being a kid. I'm coming up on 30 so I was lucky enough to see the tail end of that. I'm thankful for it.
>>730083859I remember how C&D stood out for it's 'floaty' run + attacks that have moves that can still steer up/down direction. Also jumping real high across he screen diagonally lol. I liked it but not as much as other games.
>>730084604Captain Commando has that. Crazy omnidirectional run. You can run in a circle, do diagonal dashing jump attacks.
Visiting Japan is normie as fuck
Name me some arcade games pls that aren't soulslike difficult but offer a very pleasing journey/experience with beautiful graphics and music
>>730084432Probably a good game, but I hated that awful yellow sumo stage.Ãt put me off even trying the game altogether. Shinkiro artstyle for the PR/marketing portraits. Yellow grid that sucked.
>>730084852Buddy, by default arcade difficulty is way higher than Souls like difficulty. Arcade games are generally designed for quick clears that encourage mastery of the games. But fuck it, play Battle Circuit. It's the last arcade beat em up Capcom ever made. It's easy enough to clear but there's a secret true final boss you can't make it to unless your score is high enough. Always play for score.
Name a genre that has suffered more than light gun shooters.
>>730085026it's a great game, my favourite SF game outside of 2x. but yea the backgrounds look ass. the yellow grid design looks kinda cool but the curser for menus sucked haha

>>730085206>light gun shooters>posts a positional gun game
>>730085625My mistake, will kill myself later.
>>730085062>Always play for score. That sounds nice until you actually do it and realize how much scoring mechancs suck in most arcade games. There are exceptions, but the rule is very much on the side of being either too barebones or encouraging stalling/milking, which would definitely get you a few annoyed glances in a real arcade for hogging the machine.
>>730084459Point taken. The best pinball machines are art pieces.
>>730086263The attitude that score doesn't matter, only clearing, has negatively effected game design over time. The best shmups have detailed scoring systems that reward fast playstyles. I like how Ketsui does it. Tried Operation Galuga recently. The game doesn't tell how score is calculated so there's no way of even knowing how to improve it. Even if score is just there to get extra lives it's still important to know how the game calculates it, that's what the stage end screen is for.
>>730086560At least try to pretend you aren't a shmupdrone reading from some eceleb script - talk about things that have negatively affected discussion on the entire internet.

>>730086643I think CAVE games in general have pretty good scoring mechanics
>>730087120Some are a bit "all-or-nothing" but to be fair it's not all of their games, and it beats these games where you check what high scoring replays are doing and see somebody waste 5 minutes on the first stage boss to shoot respawning enemies until timeout.

For me it's beat em ups and light gun gaems>Had Battletoads vs Double Dragon for the SNES>Barros pizza near the comic shop me and my aniki would get dropped off at had the simpsons beat em up (hard as FUARK)>Arcade at the mall (RIP) growing up in the early 00s had Time Crisis 2 and 3>Eventually end up getting Time Crisis 3 and a light gun for the PS2 for Xmas. Eventually somehow lose it in a move or parents sold it for drug moneyAhhh, good times good timesI should go to that arcade that has a Time Crisis 3 cabinet
it's a though pill to swallow that games with the best game design only existed as a byproduct of arcade machines who needed to 1) be fun enough to get as much money out of you as they can while 2) were required by law to be entirely skill based.

>>730088836It's definitely not for everyone, but I like it because it makes the game unroutable. Every run is going to deviate into its own beast based on where your score 1ups fall and where your unintended deaths happen, so you need to time your suicides reactively every time (so you don't drop medal chain) and make per-run decisions like "is the score and thus 1ups of starting my medal chain over worth the rank increase?"I hate shit like Dodonpachi where the game is all about executing a memorized run as close to frame perfect as possible and Garegga is the antithesis of that kind of design. Yeah, it happened completely accidentally via design meant to steal your money, but it is what it is. For some people part of the appeal is also in the satisfaction of learning how an unfair game ticks and beating it at its own game. Also it's less about avoiding the cool shit and more about not picking stuff up in excess when you're already maxed. Options are kind of the only exception to that but it's another thing I like the emergent gameplay of because you decide per-run based on how well your rank management is going when to say "fuck it we ball" and grab those last two options for the finish.

>>730126135>self imposed "challenges"nah im not an autist
>>730126302That attitude just doesn't match with playing arcade games, really. Although getting the highest place on the scoreboard isn't exactly self-imposed.
>>730124887I don't think those hipster bacardes want anyone who looks like picrel there anyway desu.So they catering to very casual people and those who never experienced arcades. If picrel weren't into drinking as young adults they probably aren't interested in pubs and bars anyway as 30+.These places suffer from the same problem those entry-fee entertainment centers / arcades have. You won't see any serious fighting game competition in there organically, so no need to go there and no need have fighting games other than as wallpaper and placeholders. The space would be better suited to more touristy games. And the pub/hipster crowd v arcade crowd just don't jive with each other. They don't hate, just don't want to be near each other and feel uncomfotable, nothing in common.

>>730127978There's some things you just don't do in public!
Played a lot of arcade games last year, built myself a nice autistic collection with FBNeo and Playnite, it's fun booting random titles.Got a newfound appreciation for 1CC design and shmups thanks to UFO50 and (you know who) but my favorite style is the Sega Model/Naomi 3D era.Have a lot of nostalgia for the Dreamcast especially but not for the actual places though. Was too young when I visited them so my experience with them was just feeling ripped off by the quarter munching.
>>730116678Um maybe? Looks like that site is compromised, I didn't investigate it further after going to the index. Anyway, I'm thinking of something that's like how IIDX will let you download a CSV file that has details of your play history. It's tied to an account that you use on the machine with scanning an IR card upon boot. Arcade gaming is all about progression and development of skill, and in this day and age, there should be a universal profile of some kind that tracks your plays and scores for you. I think a big piece of the puzzle that even current games lack is keeping detailed metrics of your own action. It's disheartening to always have your best score be shown to be 0.001% of the world record, but very few games will tell you if today's rounds were a certain percentage improvement over past plays, much less any detail beyond an end score comparison. This shouldn't be a pipe dream in 2026.

>>730146513While MvC3 has a fine roster, I love the out there picks on the Capcom side in TvC more.
>>730146750It's a little overwhelming honestly. They made shit loud and bright so that it'd grab your attention, but an entire floor of machines doing that is just chaos. In a proper full arcade you could barely hear what you were playing sometimes. That's probably why I loved sit-in cabs, you could really focus in on the game.If you EVER get a chance to play an original After Burner cabinet with the gyroscopic cockpit, take it. Still one of the most raw fun experience of my life.
>>730146035I fucking love baroque canceling.
>>730147332That's something I wanted back for MvC3
>>730146750You're missing the cigarette smell, at least with some older places. There's a while sensory experience that's missing from gaming now. Instead of going to one place and trying out a bunch of games you're mostly sitting around playing one game. Arcades also have the benefit of varied input devices like a gun or the DDR floor pad or twin sticks for stuff like virtual-on. It really feels like an electric playground.
I underestimated Warriors of Fate. The slower pace is deceptive. Feels like there's way more emphasis on crowd control than in most beat em ups because enemies filter in endlessly during boss fights. Can end your auto combo with a grab by holding down with attack but you actually have to time the down a little instead of just holding it the whole time. The game likes to punish you for doing anything that isn't deliberate.
Boghog, the worlds greatest arcade philosopher, has made a set of decrees for what makes a good gameAmong them are>no game should have more than one attack>no game should have visual or audio cues>no game should be able to be won without random fuck you instakills

>>730147018>>730148021That there are so few people who recognize this aspect about arcades is depressing to me. The point of being at an arcade is that it is an arcade; you may be able to play the individual games at home and online, but it doesn't replace physically being in that location.

>>730156571I don't get that feeling from them, but it does vary a lot from game to game and I've played a ton of them. Final Fight enemies are so aggressive and unpredictable sometimes that it feels like playing footsies. You should try Konami's Bucky O'Hare if you haven't. It's like a beat em up/shooter hybrid, less fighting game-y.
>>730073807>ps4 also has the virtual on masterpiece collection which is pretty much the definitive way to play those gamesAny reason why that wasn't released in the West? I remember Virtual-On OT being relatively "popular" on XBLA many years ago and with a very dedicated community.
>>730156993they were not videogames. smartphone whale culture started in arcade games:>Kobayakawa: That's right. The number of game centers continued to decline even in the 2000s. However, starting with "DOC," a business model that focused on high-spending players, players who were willing to pay a lot of money, spread among arcade games. Up until then, arcade games were a market where good gamers didn't spend money because they didn't need continues. But in the 2000s, that changed to a market where good gamers would spend money. The "2:8 rule" is something that is still talked about in smartphone games today. I think arcade games in the 2000s were the precursors to this business model where a small number of users account for the majority of sales.

>>730165070Playing arcade games is an IRL hobby
>>730165070You keep getting that answer because the way you formulate the question is retarded. Doesn't matter if you play hard or easy games if you think they are less worth than a "IRL hobby", and you can easily spend more time checking boxes in an easy one than practicing a 20 min route until you get a 1cc anyways.
>>730165176No, specifically stuff like grinding Mushihimesama for thousands of hours is worth less than an IRL hobbySomething like building something in Planet Coaster or doing a puzzle game or something is actually helping your brain, the conflict is I don't see the value of grinding difficult games like that

>>730165318I could add cultivating the required mindset and discipline to overcome difficulty in general and acquiring any other unrelated skill, if we really want to extrapolate. As in, if you are into practicing a ballbuster shmup for months before shitting out a 2-ALL, maybe you at least have the attitude required to learn how to play instruments or any other execution-heavy hobby.
>>730165070If the idea of mastering a very difficult videogame doesn't appeal to you then I don't think I can convince you to change your mind. But if it does then arcade games are just the best vehicle.foe that because they're designed for fast clears when mastered. Final Fight is harder than most modern action games but it's also easier to practice repeated clears. >>730167637But again, that's not necessarily what anon meant. Just what he read into it. Time is limited and we're not going to live forever, it's fair to ask whether something is a valuable or meaningful use of your time compared to other options.Ultimately that's a judgement left up to you.
>>730166958>Like putting in effort is a limited resourceIt is sadly. We're all mortal men doomed to die.
>>730167637>The idea that if a hobby or use of time doesn't impress people it's not worth doingin this case a "IRL hobby" doesn't necessarily need to be about "impressing others" as much as some personal belief that it has inherently more value than "non-IRL hobbies" or linking it to "real world skills" in general. Both this mindset and the retarded shit coming from the avatartroon are pseud trash though. The main objective of videogames is about having fun, some like their hardcore fun and some don't, if that leads to any sort of IRL accomplishment one way or the other it's cool but not what should be considered the primary goal. Like I'm not playing shmups because I wanted to become more disciplined, I already am, but I can see that could be an useful result for life in general.

>>730167910Learning the games is what's fun. If someone is good ar a game that just means they really enjoy learning it. If you don't like learning then you don't like games, video or otherwise. These are people who do not like games and are the ones who are really "wasting their time".I remember talking to jwong on fightcade and he said the best part about games is when they first come out and there's all sorts of new things to learn. That's the attitude I consistently see in people who are good at games.
>>730168258>People will tell you "why put in the effort" and then sink 2000 hours into elder scrolls. These are people who do not like games and are the ones who are really "wasting their time".Because Elder Scrolls is fun for them without effort. If they don't enjoy putting effort into learning, they might not like learning games but they still like games. Why is that any more of a waste of time, and why does it matter? I recently started playing Cash Cow DX, which is a modern game but heavily inspired by 1980s arcade games, and I liked it. The game is solid and fun to play on an arcade stick, but I still feel like something is missing, I can't quite put my finger on it.For example, I think SonSon, which comes free with Capcom Arcade 2, despite being such a primitive game, is much more addictive and challenging than Cash Cow DX. Why? I don't know, but it's clear that even games that try to look authentic fail to really capture the same sense of challenge that older games offered, and that addictive feeling of always wanting to try one more time.
Oh hell yeah, an RPG thread
Too bad my country barely has any more cabs in its arcades anymore but it has those modern S*ga/K*nami rhythm games and racing machines (Wangan Midnight/Initial D)

>>730170298I like the look and music. For all this and that about gameplay there's something to be said about the feeling and aesthetic of a game being right. Like what if garegga was ugly? Would you have found it as compelling in the beginning, enough to grind it for hours and hours later?
>>730170513Goodnight, anon. Good thread.
>>730170582Better than gayregga for sure, but yeah I hated the part where fucking speed ups have such a massive effect on the rank.I have done 1-ALL though, not that bad if you go slow until you eventually can't anymore(usually the graveyard stage because the boss will outspeed you and just kill with contact)
>>730170597>For all this and that about gameplay there's something to be said about the feeling and aesthetic of a game being right. Like what if garegga was ugly? Would you have found it as compelling in the beginning, enough to grind it for hours and hours later?Yeah, honestly good feel and aesthetics is necessary for anybody to care about playing any game. More than some people want to admit. If it doesn't feel satisfying to pop enemies then what's the point?
>>730170624Good night, sweet thread.
>>730170830All the parts gotta come continue. There's good beat em ups that I can't get that into as much because the hit sounds are too weak. Not actually an arcade game, but SoR3. I even like the music but the hit sounds are like wet noodle slaps. Hitting someone with a pipe in 2 sounded like a fucking cannon shot.
>>730170513This was an absolutely terrible thread
With bump limit reached I can now share my real opinions without fear.G Darius > Gaiden
>>730171571You forgot your avatar again
>>730171604Darius is just bad, it looks cool bit it's just bad. G Darius is especially retarded because you can skip half the game by just sitting inside a capture. It's like people sucking off gradius and parodius when those games are clearly awful and boring to route. Rayforce and Raystorm are the actual good Taito shmups.
>>730171713>boring to routeWhat would you know about that when all you do is copymonkey
>>730171813Go back to /vr/ retard
>>730171835You are so fucking easy to spot.
>>730171853What are you even talking about schizo?
>>730171875Try again next thread, I'm sure somebody will keep falling for it.
>>730171713>G Darius is especially retarded because you can skip half the game by just sitting inside a captureThat sounds like a bit of an exaggeration
>>730171923There's not gunna be a next thread, you need to stay on /vr/. You saw actual shmup threads so you had to fire up these shitty generals again and suck all discussion dry with these awful fart huffing threads. Stay on /vr/, you don't belong here. Those threads are dead for a reason.
>>730172014>stay on /vr/>stay on /vr/Make me. Yes there will be other arcade threads on /v/, better prepare your avatar pictures already.
>>730172112>Yes there will be other arcade threadsNo there won't be
>>730172150Yeah I'm sure this will be the last one ever lol
