What's the best game in the Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection? I've been trying a few of them but they all mostly play the same and I keep getting crap cards from the booster packs which means I progress super slowly. Mix that in with this really slow battle loop and I'm getting board (haha get it) as fuck.

You could give Dungeon Dice Monsters a try, I find it to be a fun game. Definitely not traditional gameplay wise, but it's neat. Just so you know tournaments have to be finished in one go, no stopping for a break, unless this collection changed that with save states or something as I only played on GBA.

I recently completed this. I used cheatengine to speed the game up. Duel monsters and dark duel stories was amusing with the no tributes. 4 has 3 versions, i completed 1, more of the same. I dis capsule monsters cause autism but not a card game. Dungeon dice and destiny board traveler sucked hard so skipped. Eternal duelist soul was mildly amusing, completed just for the great nostalgia, it makes a huge jump towards the actual card game.Then you have stairway, 2004 and 2005. Stairway and 2004 suck. I found 2005 to be amusing so i completed it. The most fun game for me was the sacred cards, but it gets easy once you figure out how to play (add a bunch of low cost traps, field spell, focus on type monsters) and its easy. But the concept is fun, increase capacity, add better cards etc. Reshef is a huge kusoge, i beat this halfway as a kid, now i just enabled cheats and even with a cheat deck i spent over an hour trying to beat the final boss. This game added continues effects and with shitty coding it checks the whole map EVERY action for effects. Winning games also gives 1 capacity, cards are much more expensive.. kudos to you if you beat this shit legit.Overall it was enjoyable for the nostalgia and seeing how the early games worked. I hope they do the playstation and nds+ games. Never played those. Oh amd the duel academy game on the gba was also missing, i liked heroes.

I decided to just learn Mitsu Yummy from the scratch on solo mode instead of looking for some ready combo lines online and it's been the most fun I've had with this game in months.
