Keshins mainly because the teamwide buffs can apply to teammates in Awakening and some of the MF ones just auto-win Focus Battles randomly, Keshin Armed is slightly more flexible than Armor but weaker in its specific purpose, Miximax is slightly stronger Keshin but without the team buff, Totems take too long to get going. I hear some mode changes are special and actually pretty strong, but I don't care about the characters that have them so I have no idea if that's good or not.

I don’t think everyone needs to be able to become everything, but alternate boards should make a character play differently, even if it’s slightly. No one cares if a character has 2 dribble and 3 block slots, or 1 dribble and 4 block slots, they effectively play the same. There’s no difference between the boards in practice. For as shit as it is to have a GK with slot or dribble slots or the other way around, at least you can use them in different roles if you want to play weird. I end up just using Legendary Kirino, because he actually has shots and I can put X Blast on him and ogle feminine boys.

So it just sucks.
